orichamarus real reason on attacking the leaf village and becoming evil ??

Well we all know orochimaru is by far the most evil character in the series but theirs not a thread on here about why. kishimoto has an act of showing evil characters good side just before the end such as zabuza itachi pein etc, my theory is he became evil after his parents deaths, maybe the leaf village had something to do with the deaths and he went all snake crazy any ideas

It was first stated that orochimaru is obssessed about knowledge and power. However there could be more to it, can't wait for kishi to explain this.

I believe it was stated that oro parents died in the war and was taken in by the 3rd. Later hated the 3rd and the leaf because he was not chosen to become hokage. But im positive there will be a back story to the bigger picture as to why he attacked the village, he was probably after important information but was stoped in his tracks by Hiruzin

Unless Kishi throws a curve ball and make it have something to do with the things he was ordered to do by Danzo during his days in the ANBU and the way he was treated by the 3rd after it was discovered and possibly a combination of Nawki's (Tsunade's brother) death under his watch. Because he did seem rather interested in Sasukes question in what is a shinobi and what is a village. With his parents death and the and him failing to protect a friends younger brother he could have some abandonment issue and being treated that way by the 3rd after doing what he was order to do could have threw him off his rocker.
