orochi couldn't revive anyone that could take on pain, the only ones are itachi and naruto so who would he use? No one, since orchi couldnt take out young naruto and even let sasuke have the time and ability to beat him just proves he doesnt think correctly and would have no shot. Plus he has 6 paths that could go into seperate bodies or be the same while orochi has to be able to control all of them fully and kabuto hasnt even mastered that yet and he has far surpassed orochi in that technique

You also have to remember that going up against the Third Hokage was difficult even for Orochimaru and he was one of the Sannin. Pain went up against Jiraiya and he did damage to three Pain's and Nagato was so surpraise somone actually gave him a hard time and he was the one to deafeat Hanzou. Now, imagine what would happen when he go up against Orochimaru and his Edo Tensie's.

Deva path can summon the heretical demon statue, and let it go home on the edo tensei summons. Orochimaru doesn't stand a chance by himself against the six paths.

It's to risky to pull out a Jutsu like that. Firstly, Nagato controls the Pains so intially you can take him out of the bunch. Secondly, He would waste most of his chakra defending against the Edo Tensei which eventually leads Orochimaru to learn of their secrets. Thirdly, Using that Jutsu would be Uselees because of Muu Dust technique which would destroy the Heretical Demon Statue leaving Tendou Pain open for attack. Fourthly, Leaving Nagato stranded helpless and defeated by Orochimaru himself.^LOL^

Just a scenario, can be possible.^LOL^

Orochimaru is a Genuise I give him that but he doesn't need the fox powers to defeat Pain. Naruto only enter Fox Mode because of Hinata got hurt. If it wasn't for her than he would have got caught.
