I honestly don't care that much, as I don't plan on making a female bio |) but it is a pretty pointless rule lol. As Shigure said, the point of role play is to play the role of a character that you are not. So it takes away quite a bit from the point of role play if it's gender-restricted. It's even more pointless when you think of how a male can change his icon to say female, and then you wouldn't know anyway. I mean, if Kirabi did it then we'd all know lol, but a newer member could.

So yes, people should be allowed to choose bios from either gender.

It doesn't matter if people's behavior could seem "creepy" or not. The entire point of free will - the entire point of living in the countries that we live in, free of overwhelming dictatorial suppression - is to be able to act however you want. It doesn't matter if your behavior seems "creepy" or "weird" to other people; you have the right to act however you want, as long as you don't insult or hurt others.

Considering I RP as two of the MOST weird characters in existence - specifically, a freakishly cannibalistic plant/human and a talking penguin - I cannot oppose Kirabi's suggestion. >.>
