Name: (Dai sanji) Catastrophe

Description: This is a puppet that Sasori will use similarly to his Hiruko puppet. Catastrophe is a puppet that Sasori will wear in battle, and will manipulate inside similar to how he is capable of using his Hiruko puppet to attack the enemy. By fighting inside of the puppet it allows for Sasori to be protected throughout the battle, and he doesn’t have to worry about using his main body. Catastrophe has also been modified to use puppetry attacks without difficulty. Sasori created this puppet in hopes of replacing his Hiruko body as the one he travels around in. Catastrophe greatly resembles a demonic knight. Catastrophe has two demonic horns on its head which are capable of being fired off at the opponent. The horns can reach up to mid range and counts as a B-rank, and will explode when it comes in contact with a target due to it having papers bombs coiled inside of it. From the inside of Catastrophe on its left and right sides there are valves with spare horns inside, and when the horns that was already in place have been used up they will begin to make their way upwards to the head which is also why it takes time for the horn to reload. After each usage the horns will automatically replace themselves. Spreading from his upper back are two large wings which give it added mobility as well can attack the enemy, and provide defense. Each individual wing is equal to a B-rank technique together equaling an A-rank attack/defense tool. If in short range the user can use the wings in order to attack the enemy due to their large length. The wings are also capable of unleashing a gust of wind by flapping them which would produce a blast of wind equal to a B-rank Justu. Attached to its left fore arm is a large golden shield. If the shield is used as a defensive weapon it is equal to a C-rank technique. It will also be capable of unleashing gray smoke bombs from inside of it which conceal everything up to mid range and is just regular smoke. On the bottom of its feet are holes capable of firing out chakra blast equal to an C-rank blast. The chakra blast allows for the puppet to fly in a horizontal or vertical manner. Metal chains are capable of beings launched from inside of Catastrophe from underneath it or from its sleeves with can be used to grapple onto objects or to bind an enemy but due to the fact they are just regular chains they can be broken through with rather ease.(up to four can be fired at a time) Catastrophe also hays an extra set on arms below its first pair, that Sasori can enable when he is inside of the puppet due to the user's body and chakra system being connected. From its eyes it holds the ability to shine a bright pink light that envelopes everything up to Mid range which causes blinding for up to two turns. On Catastrophes back is an array of weapons such as: Two long swords, and two long axes, there is however nothing special about the tools and are just regular weapons.

Description: This is a human puppet Sasori acquired when on his hunt for special kekkei genkai. It may have taken a long time to finally find a worthy specimen for his collection, but he had finally done it. Annie is capable of using all five basic elements as well as using the special kekkei genkai known as Storm release. Annie has had a lot of modifications done to her body in order to transform her into a more powerful form than when she was once alive. The first major modification of the puppet is that she no longer stands on two legs, but instead has a pair of arms spreading out of her abdomen which allow for her to place her body on the ground on all Six. When in this state it is similar to how the salamander puppet stands. Her four arms are all capable of being protracted into long distances. On the puppet’s front arms are tags which are used to release four puppet arms which the user will launch at the target And are equal to a C-rank technique. The puppet’s front arms are also capable of launching off like a grappling hook and attach itself to whatever it grabs hold of.Annie is also capable burying herself underground up to long range. One ability of this puppet is that it is capable of utilizing its storm release ability to cover its body inside of a thick dark thundercloud with electricity running through it, which serves two purposes which are to attack the enemy or provide cover. The cloud serves as a B-rank defense and the lightning attacks are equal to B-rank. In the middle of the puppet’s chest is a hole for Sasori heart compartment where he can change into the puppet quickly.

Sasori is in his Annie puppet which is inside of Catastrophe


All of a sudden Sasori found himself on a strange and unfamilar platform. Something about the place where he was seemed like something out of this world mainly because he appeared to be on a plat form in the middle of the sky. As he glanced off of the platform to look around he saw nothing around him for miles, and he just assumed he was in a very high place. After examining the landmark and his surroundings he focused his attention on two things: One being a person directly in front of him, but with his peripheral vision he caught site of a nearby building with some interesting architecture. Focusng his attention back on the person the Dark Knight began to grow suspcious of this man. Being the only two people around Sasori came to the conclusion that the man in front of him would have some information as to where they were, and not being a patient person Sasori decided the fastest way to get immediate answers would be by force. Seeing as how the two were short-range of each other Sasori decided he would try out a taijutsu strike. He started by stretching out his right leg, and swiftly performed a leg sweep which would come in contact with the man's left leg first followed by him losing his balance, and falling on the ground where Sasori waited to see what his reaction would be. Let it be known that this was not just any ordinary leg sweep as Sasori before hand focused a chakra thread in his right leg something that would be unknown to the man as the chakra thread would not be visible by the naked eye, and as soon as his leg made contact with the man's left leg the thread would be attached to the man's body. Even after the chakra thread had made contact with the man's body he would be aware of its effect until he attempted to get up where he would then be faced with binding force around his leg preventng movement in his left leg. " So... who are you."

Description: The user starts off by making contact with a physical object, and connect a chakra thread to the object. This technique can also be done to elemental techniques such as Earth or steel, but has to be tangible. Basically the user attaches a chakra thread to an object and will either attack directly or throw a projectile at the target. If the attached object with a chakra thread makes contact with the enemy, the chakra threads will move on to enemy’s body restricting their body movement. Chakra threads can be attached to any object such as: Kunai, Shuriken or even the user’s body parts. An example of this technique is when Chiyo launched a Kunai with chakra threads attached at Hiruko’s tail which resulted in Hiruko being unable to move its tail anymore. If the chakra thread makes contact with the opponent it will restrict that body part with B-rank strength. When the chakra thread collides with a weapon the thread will move on to the enemy’s weapon, and further up on to their arm binding it as well as that part of their body. The threads work by coiling around that part of the enemy’s body when contact has been made, and bind their movement. It is also possible for the user to stealthily perform this jutsu if they have their chakra threads already attached to an object such as a puppet. Also, the chakra thread is near invisible as the user has suppressed their chakra enough so it wouldn't be visible unless said object has been brought to an abrupt stop or if the opponent is a chakra sensor or has a doujutsu. Once a chakra thread has been attached to an enemy they will not know that it has attached itself to themselves until the moment they try to move that body part again which could end up being deadly if the enemy needs that body part at a certain moment. If using in combination with a taijutsu or kenjutsu strike it can be done in the same time frame as the attack by generating the chakra thread in that part of their body or through an object as they are attacking.

I'm going to assume that 'Annie' is the container for Sasori's heart whilst Catastrophe is like Hiruko. Correct me if I'm wrong.


The moment Sasori extended his right leg, Baraggan quickly reached the conclusion that Sasori was an enemy and had to be eliminated. Even though Baraggan had fought thousands of enemies in his life, it always confused him as to why exactly a vermin would even dare challenge him. Nevertheless, returning his focus back to the battle, Baraggan extended his right leg and performed a low kick; intercepting Sasori's kick before it was able to deliver any harm. The two kicks would negate each others effects, due to being equal in rank and strength.

"Hmph.. pathetic"

Once Baraggan had done so, realizing the need to maintain distance, Baraggan jumped backwards until he was roughly 8m away from Sasori.

Yeah You're right about that.


Just as Sasori was going in for the kick to sweep the man off of his feet he noticed the man shift legs and counters his attack with another taijutsu strike. At the moment of the collison Sasori simpled smirked as the two techniques supposedly cancelled out. Unknown to the man the second the two made contact the chakra thread attached in his leg would transfer to the man's. The effects of the thread wouldn't be known until just a few seconds later when the man would attempt to jump backwards. When he tried to move backwards by moving his leg he would be faced with a restricting movement in his leg that would prevent him not only from jumping but moving. " I wonder who the really pathetic one is." Now that he was immobile Catastrophe began to generate ten chakra threads in his bottom set of hands whch then swiftly extended from his finger tips and all raced towards the man in order to restrict his movement and injure him. Not only were the threads going to bind the man the threads had enough pressure within the threads in order to actually harm the man crushing his bones painfully. This body wrap was a full body one with chakra threads binding each one of his limbs.

Description: Using the secondary function of the chakra threads, which is to attach and grapple on to objects or people like a spider's web, the user creates at least 5-10 chakra strings from their hand(s) (5 chakra strings would require one hand. 10 chakra strings would require two hands.) These chakra strings race towards the opponent with great speed and attach on to them. The chakra string then begin to wrap around the opponent tightly constricting their movements (This is a full body wrap). The strength of the constriction depends on how many threads the user uses. Five threads would result in a B-rank level restriction and A rank would require 10 threads. Unique only to the A rank variant, the user can further tighten the grip on the opponent causing physical harm to them as their body would have increasing pressure imposed on it.

The moment Baraggan attempted to jump back, he stumbled and fell on his back. It was at this point that he realized his right leg wasn't moving, which made absolutely no sense given that he had not witnessed his opponent perform any technique. What added fuel to the fire was that not only was he left completely embarrassed by the incident, the man standing infront of him had begun to mock him

"Unforgivable..!" Baraggan muttered

He was now furious. Without a doubt, he would not take this humiliation. However, before Baraggan got the chance to retaliate, the shinobi had already started his attack. When Baraggan witnessed chakra threads extending from the shinobis bottom set of hands, it all started to make sense. Clearly, he was fighting against a puppeteer. Utilizing the information he had just acquired, Baraggan came to the conclusion that his previous contact with the puppets leg may have been when the puppeteer has played his trick. Turning his attention back to the chakra threads moving towards him, Baraggan realized he had to act quick. Channeling his chakra throughout his body, he released a stream of lightning that destroyed the chakra threads that were heading towards him and unknown to Baraggan, also destroyed the chakra thread placed by Sasori's first technique. Once Baraggan had released the current, he once again attempted to establish distance between himself and Sasori, this time successfully moving to a position roughly 8m from the puppeteer.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

As the threads from Catastrophe's previous attack closed in on the man in attempts to finish this battle he noticed something emitting from the man's body. Just before the threads could entangle his enemy he saw a cyan colored substance spring forth interacting with the threads, and destroying them "Lightning.." Once Catastrophe's attack had been thwarted he observed how after flowing the lightning throughout his body that it had effectively destroyed his Puppet thread Sasori had planted. Immediately after the man regained his ability to walk he tried to put some distane between him and Sasori which made him laugh " I hope you don't think by puting distance between us you'll have a better chance of winninng." After he said that the two of his horns on his head launched off of his head, and swiftly made their way towards the man. One horn moved in an arc to left aiming to collide with the man from his right, and when it made it contact with him it'd explode. The other horn Catastrophe manipulated to attack directly in a linear manner aiming to collide with the enemy from the front. From the moment the horns launched off of his head, from inside of Catastophe would be a sound that resembled that of an elevator shaft. Almost immediately after the horns had been launched Catastrophe put his eyes on the man, and began to expel a copious amount of an endless barrage of senbon at the man in a linear manner which wouldn't be too far apart from the horns. A single puncture from one of the senbon could possibly be fatal.

Once Baraggan was approximately 8m from the puppeteer, he tried to further inspect and observe the puppet. However, despite all his attempts, he was unable to truly identify the puppeteers position. All of this led to only one conclusion, which was that the puppeteer was hidden inside the puppet.

"Hmph.. hiding inside a puppet?"

The moment Catastrophe released two horns, Baraggan slammed both of his hands upon the ground. This would cause a section of the ground in the vicinity, precisely 10m in length and 4m in width to rise up 20m, making the 'wall' roughly 4m away from the puppeteer. The sudden change in the terrain would allow Baraggan to evade the horns, which would instead collide straight into the wall, slightly damaging it. Quickly following up, Baraggan weaved a set of two handseals, causing the surface underneath the puppeteer to turn into a swamp. The swamp would be roughly 4m in length and width, and 40m in depth.

Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

After the man gained some distance on the field, Catastrophe noticed how observant he appeared to be. It looked as if every crevice of his body was being watched, and examined. Catastrophe's previous thoughts were answered when in only a short amount of time his enemy had come to the conclusion that he was "Hiding inside of a puppet." to answer the man since he already appeared to figure it out Catastrophe began to speak in a hoarse voice " I wouldn't Say 'Hiding' just more of a shell that I am using so that I don't have to go through the hassele of using my 'real body' a way to ensure my Eternal body." Catastrophe didn't expect for his opponent to understand or even comprehend what he was talking about it was something most people couldn't understand due to their simple mind. Up until this moment Catastrophe had simply been playing with his enemy anticipating every one of his attacks. So the moment the ground rose and interferred with the incoming missiles he wasn't all that surprised. After watching him summon forth a wall of earth Catastrophe already knew it would be pointless to carry out out his Senbon technique. In the next few seconds it appeared that he would have another obstacle in his way this time it was a swamp a fairly small one at that. To deal with the problem at hand he formed a "horn" symbol with his top right hand. Now that the sign had been done he began to concentrate his chakra threads into two points on his hand. Once the chakra had been gathered Catastrohe aimed his fingers behind him at an area that would be free of the mud. Almost immediately a translucent string would swiftly move out of his fingers and attach itself to a part of the land out of the mud's range, once the thread attached itself to the ground it would then pull him out of the swamp. Once he landed (Long range now) he started to see no point in playing around anymore " Well I guess we've played around long enough" with that said Catastrophe held out his two top hands which would begin to emit a bright. As the the light gathered in his hands in the next few moments several beams of electricity would follow out of his hands, and race towards the mam in front of him. He then followed up by forming the required hand seals to create a thick cloud formed from his storm chakra that is sent into the sky in the color of a crimson column. Once it hits the sky it begins to cause a reaction in the clouds creating static energy, and drawing up storm clouds. Nothing immediately happens, but is all in preparation for a jutsu. After he had performed the technique the entire sky would grow a dark shade of black as storm clouds swarmed in.

Description: The will first make a horn sign with one of their hands, and then begin to generate chakra in their index and pinky finger. The chakra being generated in their finger tips is similar to the chakra thread technique. Once chakra has been kneaded in their fingertips the user will then aim their hand towards a specific object and launch the chakra threads from their fingertips. The chakra threads will attach themselves to an object by using the sticky properties of the threads, and then begin to drag the user in that direction allowing for the user to dodge attacks or easily get around. The chakra threads were shown to have the ability to pull objects when they are attached to a puppet or when holding a puppet in the air. The process of being dragged happens pretty quickly giving the user swift movements. It is also possible for this technique to work in reverse, which just mean that it is possible to bring objects closer towards the user or even swing them to attack the enemy. The user can also use the threads in order to drag objects closer since it was shown when using a puppet the puppeteer was capable of maneuvering the puppet in any direction that they chose. Description:
After doing a sequence of 4 handseals (Rat→Dragon→Hare→Tiger) the user releases a burst of red chakra in the form of a gigantic collumn of energy that rises high into the atmosphere above him. As soon as he does so, huge cold thunderclouds gather and swirl around and above the user, covering the whole battle field. As the pitch black thunderclouds gather high above the user, the whole atmosphere becomes charged with static energy. After some time, having gathered enough thunderclouds and lightning energy, the whole energy is unleashed upon the ground descending in the form of a collum of energy (similar to the one initially triggered). As it touches the ground around the user, the collumn explands outwards, taking advantage of the moisture in the air to travel up to long range, hitting everything while clearing the skies in the process. The energy destroys anything in its wake, leaving nothing but an empty wasteland behind. Because of the massive range and chakra needed to perform this technique, the user can only make use of it a limited amount of times.

Baraggan observed the puppeteer from above, and watched carefully as the puppet was dragged out of the swamp, almost as if something was pulling it away. He could not clearly make out the exact nature of the technique, but it now that the puppeteer had escaped, it was the least of his concern.

"In that case.."


The moment the puppeteer reached safe ground, Baraggan weaved a single handseal and slammed his palm upon the ground. He would not allow Sasori any chance to retaliate as he channeled his chakra to the area underneath him, releasing 10 inch long lightning bolts which sprung from beneath Sasori and pierced through his body. Quickly following up, Baraggan weaved a single handseal, releasing a stream of lightning from throughout his body. The current of lightning would then shape itself into thousands of birds who would then proceed to split into four groups. One group would create a platform for Baraggan to stand upon, one would move to Baraggans left, one to his right and one above him. With each group properly positioned, Baraggan would then proceed to fly towards Sasori, each group flying alongside, roughly 2m from Barragan at their specified positions, whilst Baraggan himself would be 20m from the ground.

Description: The user will initiate the technique by doing a set of 3 hand seals, ending with the boar handseal. Slamming their hands on the ground, channeling mass amounts of lightning chakra within the area below the target. The user will then shape and manipulate the lightning underground, causing countless of 10 inch in length lightning bolts to spring up from under the target(s) and the area up to 5 meters around them; resulting in a devastating assault. Ripping through the skin causing lethal damage after several thunderbolts hit the target. The thunderbolts once shot up from the ground spring upwards in such a fast pace they look like shooting stars from a distance. Because of the pace in which they hurl from within the ground and the area they cover, it's dangerous for the user to be six meters or less near the opponent, risking to be caught in the array. Thus, being a technique designed for distances that surpass short range.

Description: The user performs a single hand seal, generating a stream of lightning that surrounds the users body. The stream of lightning is subsequently shaped into thousands of high-density bird-like creatures, resembling hummingbirds. These creatures are entirely composed of lightning, one inch in length, and possess an extended beak, which acts as 'stinger' for piercing purposes. These creatures, each possessing the capability to fly can be commanded by the user to attack the opponent using their beaks, though stings by these creatures cause only minor damage and numbness, the effect can be drastically increased when they attack and successfully sting the opponent in large numbers. The user can alternatively command these creatures to cover up his entire body, forming a layer over his body which can not only serve defensive purposes by utilizing the high density composition of these creatures, but can also be used offensively, in conjunction with Taijutsu, capitalizing on these creatures ability to sting upon the enemy upon contact. The manipulation of these creatures can be exploited to a high level, as they can be commanded to establish pincer formations, being used as a platform to 'fly', or a defensive wall; this being entirely dependent upon the user. These creatures can only disperse if they're destroyed, the user deactivates the technique or if the user performs a technique from another element. Manipulation of these creatures for offensive or supplementary purposes does not make them get used up. The user cannot use any technique from the Basic Five, except for Lightning for as long as this technique is active. Doing so would result in these creatures dispersing. The only case or scenario where this is not applicable is when the user has mastered Yin and Yang. However, the user is free to utilize any Elemental Kekkei Genkai they possess, as long as one of the two elements that compose that given KG is Lightning.
Note: Commanding these creatures counts as one of the three jutsus per turn, regardless of the extent of their manipulation in a single turn.
Note: A quarter of these creatures (B Rank) are enough to completely cover up the body of the user or the opponent.

Only a few moments later after Catastrophe landed on the ground he noticed his opponent who he kept his eyes on slam their hands on the ground. Trying to see what the results of that would be he began to look around till he examined the ground below him which had slimmers of blue light appearing along the surface. "Water... No. Lightning" once he had come to the conclusion in his head what was beneath him he began to focus his earth chakra throughout his armor until sprouting from his Catastrophe body would be dense lunks of earth of which started to form an armor of sorts around him. The armor would provide a defense for the lightning to come. Just as it would erupt from the ground to pierce Catastrophe the armor would crumble at its wake while at the same time weaken it as it came. Before hand Catastrophe made sure to close in his wings on his body from all direction to protect him from the attack, it would simply destroy his wings after it collided with the armor. Now that he had delt with that he went on the offensive and started by focusing his wind chakra into his right hand which would immediately begin to emit a loud screeching sound from it. Almost instantly it began to manifest into a Sprialing Fuma Shuriken composed entirely out of Wind. His enemy would perhaps know that at the range they were at would make the jutsu useless, but he had a plan for all of that. As soon as the shuriken manifested in his right hand it was at the same time his right hand dislocated with the help of chakra threads, and extended his hand to great ranges. Now even with the range put between them Sasori could reach his target a few meters away. Once his hand launched off it carried the Rasen-Shuriken with it as it traveled its way towards the man. Since his hand carried the jutsu he had complete control over his direction so he manipulated so that it would move from left to right to make it harder to predict from which angle it was going to hit at until it was only inches away it would change its direction to a linear path to target the man head on. From the safety of the distance Catastrophe observed to see what his opponent would do.

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

Description: By manipulating the wind-natured chakra of the Wind Release: Rasengan, Naruto was able to create four large points, causing the Rasengan to take on the appearance of a giant fūma shuriken, with the Rasengan in the centre remaining a perfect sphere. The technique gives off a loud screech-like noise during, and after formation. In order to perform it in the beginning, Naruto required the aid of two shadow clones; he provides the chakra, one clone is responsible for the shape transformation, and the other provides the nature transformation. However, like with his use with the Rasengan, as his skill progresses, he becomes able to use it without the aid of any clone. Initially, he could only throw it while in Sage Mode but he has since learned how to maintain it and throw it in Nine Tails Chakra Mode and Bijuu Mode, even by simply using chakra arms. Despite this, others ninjas can learn the technique but cannot throw it as they lack Naruto's skill with the rasengan to succeed nor can they produce as much damage as Naruto who, adding to the damage boost given to him to the aforementioned modes, gains another +10 damage when using it. In the case of other bios, because they use it in a melee form, they will take -10 damage to their hand as the jutsu hits.

Description: This is a puppet technique capable of being used only by Sasori or other users who are a puppet themselves. This technique focuses on generating chakra threads from inside of the user’s joints which begin to detach parts of the user’s body from the rest with a chakra thread. The jutsu mainly focuses to increase the range of the techniques which the user can perform. While using this jutsu the user is capable of stretching their body parts up to long range. Chakra threads can be formed through the user’s entire body in order to stretch parts of the body all at once. The user takes on a strange look while using this. So by using this technique the user can for example stretch one of their legs, arms, head ect. There is also another way that this ability can be used, and that is by only using the chakra threads to stretch one of the user’s limbs at a time instead of all of them at once. Basically the user will generate chakra threads from all or specific joints on their body to greatly increase attack ranges. The chakra threads allow for the user stretch their limbs up to long ranges in order to grab onto enemies or for other purposes. Allows for Sasori to easily change his body shape or possibly dodge incoming attacks within reason. This technique works similarly to how Kakuzu manipulates the strings inside of his body.
Note: Full Puppet Dislocation mode can only be used for 4 turns.

Excuse me for my lackluster move, but the fight may turn into 'tennis' at this range .___.

Upon seeing Sasori close in his wings and cover himself up with an armour of rocks to defend himself, Baraggan weaved a set of two handseals, causing the earth underneath Sasori to turn into swamp. The swamp itself would extend upto 10m in length and width, with Sasori being at its center and roughly 40m in depth. Once Baraggan had performed the technique, he performed his hands onto the ground, causing the ground present behind the Swamp (behind Sasori) to suddenly sink in 20m, with the section of the earth that sunk in being 10m in length and width.

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Just as Sasori was opening his wings after deflecting the previous attack he then observed how his footing had been turned into a mud-like substance trapping him. " Same ol antics again." Deciding not to waste time to deal with it he began to perform a single hand seal, and started to spew out a large quantity of water at the ground which manifested itself into a large wave which Sasori would ride on top of. The wave would instantly force him out of the swamp as he then began to charge in on the man in front of him. He controlled the wave in order to travel directly at the man hoping to close some distance as he moved in closer. After some time has passed while he was traveling on the wave he manipulated the water to stop Short-range from the enemy as Catastrophe then began to spew out a concentrated blast of chakra from the soles of his feet which propelled him in the air. The moment he hovered himself into the air he looked directly at his enemy who happened to be positioned high in the air as well. " This really has gone on too long..."

Whilst standing atop the wall, Baraggan would weave a single handseal, placing Sasori under a Genjutsu. The puppeteer would observe Baraggan expel smoke which would proceed to materialize into a shadow-figure before dispersing into nothing.

Description: The technique is a simple and straightforward illusionary technique that affects the opponents senses. The technique works with the user weaving a single handseal and expelling smoke from his mouth which instantly materializes into a 'shadow figure', with the shadows face being that of whoever the user chooses. The shadow-figure is completely capable of manifesting weaponry from its body and the user can choose to have the original one divide into two or more shadow-figures. Alternatively however, the user can choose to 'give birth' to the shadow figure; more or less for aesthetic purposes. It depends entirely upon the user how he chooses to expel the shadow figure, with the size of the shadow being slightly larger than that of the user. Once this has been done, the shadow figure disperses and disappears from the field. This begins the second stage of the Genjutsu which continues for a specific period. It allows the user to materialize the shadow figure at any place on the field for any purpose at all, such as to stab the opponent or to bind the target in place before the shadow disappears once more. Any damage dealt by the shadow figure is felt and experienced by the target, for example the loss of limbs would incapitate the target, rendering them incapable from using that particular limb. However, in reality, no damage is actually dealt upon the target and it is completely mental stress that forces the body to assume that it has been injured.
Note: Activation costs a move slot, and to maintain the technique, it costs a move each turn. The manipulation of the shadows can easily be made part of the same timeframe as another technique. When the form appears it takes a couple of seconds to take it's form before it can strike.
Note: The effects of the illusion disparate when/if the illusion is broken.
