How she had found herself on a ship in the middle of a frozen ocean was beyond Cheryl, why she wanted nothing more than to attack the one opposite her was even more of a mystery but she didn't mind, she didn't question it, she just went with the flow, succumbed to the urge and began weaving the tiger handseal causing her body to disappear from view. As she vanishes, a second version of herself appears next to her, a clone also under the effects of the performed technique and invisible to the naked eye.

The Second Tsuchikage, Mū's mastery of this technique helped earn him the moniker "Non-Person" seemingly having neither form nor chakra while the technique was active. After vanishing Cheryl and her clone begin to move, the clone heading straight toward the opponent with a kunai behind her back. The true Cheryl climbs ten feet up the rigging of the ship before stopping amongst the rope ladders and creating a small ball of crystal in her hand which gives her a birdseye view of the battlefield, allowing her to watch the fight ensue and learn any tricks that the opponent may have before she needs to engage herself.

Whilst the true Cheryl sits above the ship and watches on through her crystal ball, the clone version of her reaches the opponent and performs a knee slide, aiming to slice the kunai across the leg of the man. Cheryl didn't expect this to work, but she expected she'd gather some information at least.

It was a truly unique situation to be in, trapped on a boat, in the middle of a frozen ocean, face to face with... who was this? To try and understand his foe, he would passively activate his Byakugan. This would help him observe their strength and track their movements in the process. As he looks on his foe comes up with some unique tricks, trying to hide while making a clone. Perhaps they thought this would be more feasible? Either way, Azriel takes his staff off his back as the clone rushes towards him. He perceives their movements as they aim to slide along the ground slice at his legs.

Driving his staff into the ground, he releases a burst of chakra, pushing himself up in the process. This burst of chakra while pushing himself up, allows him to shoot up towards his foe as he swing his staff around aiming to strike them in their head using the first form of his technique.

Description: The kekkei genkai intrinsic to both the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans—descendants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Those who possess this dōjutsu have it manifested as eyes with featureless white irides and no visible pupils. And when activated, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge. To activate the dōjutsu, Hyuga but not Ōtsutsuki clan members are initially obliged to use a rather long and specific sequence of handseals: Horse → Tiger → Boar → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar → Snake. But once activated, the dōjutsu user is endowed with a range of skills.

To start, an activated Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision bar one blind spot at the back of the neck, above the first thoracic vertebra. Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions, and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences. But that being said, certain barriers and the like may distort its perception. In addition, it is able to follow high-speed movements, which enables those with this dōjutsu to analyze their foes' actions and better react to them. The Byakugan is also able to see chakra to a higher degree than the Sharingan and ergo, identify where a person's chakra signature originates from. Beyond that, it can discern certain types of clones from the real person. And its ability to see chakra is in fact so acute that those who possess this dōjutsu are even able to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that comprise it. The Hyūga clan has gone so far as to develop their unique Gentle Fist style in order to capitalize on this particular ability.

Note: Hyuga clan bios of at least Jonin rank become able to passively activate their dōjutsu upon one month having passed since Gentle Fist training concluded. Ōtsutsuki bios never need to expend a move in order to activate it.
Note: While traversing the NW, bios with activated Byakugan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away while those of sage rank can see as far as three away, but this doesn't extend beyond an ocean landmark.

Description: The staff was forged by a smith from long ago, Fëanor, one of the first known steel users. Being such a gifted user of steel he made an excellent smith as he could find the perfect ratio of iron to carbon to create the strongest tempered steel. This weapon was personal to him, and so he forged it infusing it with his own blood, using the iron within to create the steel to have his chakra within it. The staff draws on the user, causing them to use an addition 10 chakra for their steel jutsu, but due to this the user's steel techniques gain a +20 damage bonus/+1 defensive rank if a technique without a damage value.

The staff being made of steel allows the user to use it as a source for steel jutsu. The staff can be passively manipulated by a steel users to alter its shape to form unique weapons. They can change the end into a blade for the use of kenjutsu attacks or even reshape it into a fan or spear. This costs 5 chakra to reshape.

A unique ability of the staff is known as "Gothmog". With this it will seem as though blades of steel are peeling away from the staff itself, fuelled by the users chakra (40). With this the user creates a swarm of thousands of steel blades that they control through movements of their staff. These blades can be used for attack or defence being S rank in strength (80 damage). The user can create anything from swarms of slicing blades to even line the blades together to create shields or platforms as long as they remain in contact with the staff to do the motions. This lasts up to 3 turns max. Controlling the blades after the first turn counts as one of the user's three moves per turn. It costs 40 chakra to activate Gothmog and then drains 10 chakra per turn to maintain the control of the blades.

Description: This is the most basic form of the Staff arts akin to the "Drunken Fist" style, using body flow along with the staff and Hyūga teachings for exaggerate movements to increase their basic close combat fighting style while releasing small bursts of Chakra to increase their speed and power. The staff is an extension of the users increasing their reach as well as being close to them for effective combat, keeping the opponent right where the user wants them. These basic arts take several basic forms, enhanced with minimal Chakra but still deadly.

The first form of this, is swinging the staff, rolling it around the users body, to build momentum, to add to striking power, without having to make large movements, while releasing a burst of Chakra from the right part of the staff to increase the speed and power of the movement, through the teachings of the Gentle Fist style. With a quick swing of their arm the user could roll the staff around their back, while releasing a burst of Chakra from the right points to speed it up, coming around form the other side using the momentum from the roll for a crushing strikes.

The second form of this basic style is large swings, using the length of the staff to their advantage to do ranged leg sweeps infused with Chakra, this allows the user to keep their target at a range while still attacking them, though as they do these movements, they will release a burst of Chakra from behind the staff, propelling it's movement at double the speed the user would normally move, making it harder to evade while increasing the damage.

The third unique form of this style is one where the user will use the length of their staff, to elaborate on a basic moment to avoid attacks or enhance attacks. What is meant by this is the user could thrust the base of their staff into the ground, while releasing a burst of Chakra from this point to push themselves up into the air, like a pole jump, to avoid incoming projectiles (within logic, due to the staff being 1.5m the user it would have to be like small fire balls and such or focused projectiles) due to the burst increasing the push, they will be be able to go as high as 15m into the air, or even a cartwheel going sideways but instead of placing the users hands on the ground they could place the staff to make a "larger movement" moving up to 15m at a time while releasing bursts of Chakra from their body and staff to increase the rotation of the cartwheel movement to avoid or strike. This can be used offensively, using the cartwheel motion to bring down an enhanced kick with the momentum behind it. The entire style uses the staff itself as part of the user, an extension of them selves to increase their combat potential, making use of the length of the staff while enhancing it's power with the bursts of Chakra akin to the gentle fist fighting style.

Watching on as the man pulls a staff from his back, drives it into the ground and sends himself flying toward her, Cheryl couldn't help but smile. She had been offered the power of his eyes and a glimpse at a special weapon in only the sending of a clone, information was coming her way and she only wanted more.

As the man flies over the clone, his staff swinging wildly around, Cheryl would throw a shuriken into the air and sing a single high pitched note which inflicts a genjutsu on the man, deafening him to the sound of everything but the shuriken flying off over his head.

With her first genjutsu in place and with the man still travelling toward her she performs two handseals and prepares to target a second of the mans senses, this time his smell. She releases a large burst of red tinted liquid perfume which splashes on the man, catcing him in his tracks as it twists, turns and forms into a wrapping vine which halts his momentum and suspends him in the air. Once the scent of the perfume enters the mans nostrils he would feel as if his organs were on fire, shards of glass growing inside of him and slicing his insides apart inflicting excruciating pain. As he dangles from his leafy liquid trap, listening to the shuriken as it now skids along the solid ice around the boat and believing that his insides were being assaulted so viciously. Everytime he tries to remove himself from the genjutsu the scent would just lock him back in and the pain would return. The true liquid on his person would attack his third sense as his eyes begin to redden and sting, tears would begin to form and stream as the perfume works through him, irritating every orifice.

While the vaporized perfume travels faster, the liquid perfume carries a greater punch, enveloping and compressing the opponent with multiple spiked vines, akin those of the illusion, to shred and drown the opponent. Can be used from the user, or, with an additional handseal, from the ground.

The implant grants perfect pitching, the ability to create sounds from the mouth that would otherwise be too high or low for a normal person, perfect manipulation of others voices and the ability to hold notes and sounds for far longer than ordinarily possible, with the intention of turning the users voice into an instrument of there own, without the disadvantages faced with singing instead of playing an instrument such as a flute.
With this implant come various abilities all focused around sound and musical manipulation techniques.

First is a passive boost to any sound techniques that originate from the users throat, giving a damage boost to all techniques and increasing the rank of any below S-rank by 1.

Secondly another passive, the ability to maintain sounds for near indefinite periods of time at perfect frequency levels without running out of breath, this breeds the ability for a user to use any jutsu that would otherwise require a musical instrument from their throat.

Lastly, the user can use this active ability of the device to redirect their screams into their own body. This sends a strong vibration through the chakra network that eliminates any foreign chakra present.

- Redirecting a scream through the users chakra network can only be done 3 times and not in consecutive turns. It also leaves the device needing to recalibrate and therefore switches off for the users next turn.
- Redirecting counts as one of the users moves per turn and is an S rank chakra surge.
- Weapon will require surgery to implant it on the chosen bio through the NB Hospital
- Sound techniques S-rank or above originating in the throat will gain a damage boost (+10 damage), but not the rank boost.
- This weapon does not increase the range of techniques. The short-long range refers to its use alongside techniques that are already long range in their regular usage

Poised to strike the original, Azriel drew his staff back as his foe drew two weapons. What were they planning? Azriel was ready to deflect them but then something strange happened. His foe launching them into the air above? Azriel could clearly see their trajectory but something strange happened. All the sound in the area was gone but the shuriken going through the air. Azriel had a keen eye and ear for genjutsu (Spec) noticing that he could no longer hear the sound of wind or anything else felt off. With his Byakugan he could see his own chakra system, seeing it distorted. It would seem his foe could use sound to create illusions. This could be a problem. With the clone attacking from below, Azriel was left open in mid air.

In an instant he released a surge of chakra through every point in his body as he began to rapidly rotate in the air while still approaching his foe. This burst of chakra would free him from his illusion while pushing away the perfume to mid range and knocking his foe out of their position at the top of the ship, hurting them in the process:

Description: A maneuver that obliges advanced chakra control—achieved via training in the Gentle Fist style—to release varied amounts of chakra from all of the user's 361 tenketsu, simultaneously. And in the midst of doing so, the user proceeds to rapidly spin and thereby, form a rotating shield of chakra with their own person at the epicenter. This functions as a defense to compensate for the Byakugan's blind spot as the released chakra blocks everything in a true 360° range and is able to send those struck by it careening back.

Cheryl watched on as once again the man before her began spinning, this becoming somewhat of a habit for her opponent it seemed. His spin generating a chakra field of sorts that sent her perfume spraying off in various other directions, the man all the while maintaining his momentum toward her position. To prevent this however, Cheryl would simply scream in his direction releasing an incredible wave of sound in front of her pulverising the man and sending him shooting backward toward the incoming identical sound wave in the opposite direction catching him between two rapturous roars of force.

Chakra - 840
As he rotated aiming to counter the combination of moves, Azriel could see the build up of chakra in both his foe and their clone at the same time. He could perceive the creation of the sound waves, knowing he would be caught between the two. Though at the same time, he could also see the way they were both being released. In an instant he released another surge of chakra through his body, dramatically increasing his weight, causing him to drop down instantly. In doing this, he would no longer be in the path of the two sound attacks. Due to this, the stronger sound attack would collide with the weaker sound, overpowering it and continuing on to attack the clone, destroying it:

Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

In the same time frame as he increases his weight, he extends his right leg bringing it down on the ship in the centre of it. Due to the added weight at the velocity at which he comes down, he would split the ship on half causing immense damage and causing his opponent to fall from the elevated position:

Watching her opponent slip out the way of her soundwave, she was too late to save the clone from becoming smoke and dust. Following the man’s movements as he lands cracking the entire ship in half with a kick, the likes of which Cheryl had never seen before. The incredible power had her stumbling, needing to find a way to move from her position and so she jumps upwards, simultaneously cutting the mast she’d been standing on with a crack of lightning. Letting it begin to fall toward the grounded man.

Perceiving the mast being cut as it falls towards Azriel, before he jumps up, he decides to make use of it. He thrusts his right arm forwards with the hand open, releasing a mass of steel over his right arm, forming a giant steel arm. This arm would capture the mast and as it does, swing it at his foe in mid air, acting like a bat of sorts. This steel would be large enough to block the wind should his continue with the wind blast. [The wooden mast hitting you would be ff damage I believe]. His foe would be hit out of the air, sending them flying along the frozen lake:

Description: This jutsu is based of the basic steel release jutsu, where the user will release more chakra from their body to create steel constructs. But instead of creating the pillars and such, this creates more steel surrounding the users body parts giving the impression that that body part has grown. For example, if the user uses this on their arm, it would look like their arm had grown to a desired size made of steel, similar to akimichi jutsu but through steel creations. This maximum size of this is to reach up to mid range (15m) and be to scale in all other aspects. The user can choose to use this on a single body part or multiple, like both his legs ect, or one arm and one leg or just his chest. The user will need to describe this when using this jutsu and must follow logic. Though the size is increased the user is able to manipulate this as though it was still his own arm due to his chakra being in the construct surrounding his body part. This also acts a an armor of sorts being a solid form of A rank steel surrounding the user.

Note: Useable 4 times

Following the swing of the mast, Azriel casts the wood to one side as he bends the steel, making it move as though it was fluid to create a platform under him that he uses to move towards his foe where ever she may be. Should she continue the wind, he would bend the steel to block it. As he moves over he decides to speak to his foe.

"You seem to have a lot of heart. A lot of unique skills. What drives you? What is your passion?"

Unlike other jutsu this doesn't apply heat to do so, but instead an extreme chakra control while thinking of the flow of water release. It will almost look like mercury which is in it's liquid form and through this jutsu the user will control the steel. They will control it using hand gestures pushing the steel around in a fluid like motion, yet it will still be solid, just controlled like it's a fluid. This makes it easier to trap people, but at the same time this has another use.
Note: Useable 4 times, last 3 turns per use but only works on existing steel the user has made or is devoid of chakra.
Note: Changing the shape, direction and other control of a steel construct takes up another jutsu of the users per turn after the initial use of this.
Note: This does not effect the strengths and weaknesses of steel, it's just advanced shape manipulation.

Watching as her opponent catches the mast in a large metal baseball mitt before altering its momentum and beginning a swing toward her, Cheryl performs a single swift whistle and summons Valor, a mockingbird in full motion who flies out the way of the oncoming pillar and toward the ground, disappearing again as soon as he nears the ground beneath where Cheryl would have been (on the border of short range from your position before you elevate yourself).
As Valor disappears, Cheryl reappears with a flurry of needle like feather from the mockingbird world which penetrate and harm any they stick.

Not only is he summoned in what is near to an instant, but he is also summoned in place of the user. The user being transferred into Valor's world whilst the bird remains on the battlefield. Valor is about the size of an average human, he is capable of reaching his top speed (A-Rank Speed) in under a second giving him a great reputation as a great, quick maneuvering, defensive bird. By whistling from the bird's world, the user can switch places with Valor at any time. Upon switching back, the user will bring with him hundreds of weighted, needle-like feathers from the Mockingbird homeworld which will fall from the sky in a circle short/mid-range in all directions with the user as their center point. However, this can only be done when in the air and has a short time in between before the needles rain down. This is equivalent to an A-rank Ninjutsu techinque. Valor is not capable of using techniques other than ones any Mockingbird can use.

Now returned to the real world and watching the man defend her prickled companions, Cheryl answers the question she’d been asked.

“What drives me? Oh, interesting. Moments such as these are inspiring… the stories they inspire, the ideas they create, you and I are choreographers in a dance of aspiration and intrigue. Think of the show I could write... man of steel on a frozen lake, with a crystal queen the ship doth quake. Same question to you.”

Cheryl, whilst speaking creates a crown of crystal atop her head before sending a growing root of thorny crystalline vines tearing through the remaining floor of the ship that the pair still stand upon, tearing through the wood and causing it to truly ‘quake’.

What a unique skill. Almost like a magician like as a bird appears in place of his foe. It would seem their foe would have a true affinity for sounds. First an illusion, then destructive soundwaves and now a form of space/time ninjutsu through summoning. It truly was a spectacle to behold, a phenomenal display of skill. With his foe re appearing unharmed he hears her answer. It was not what he expected, quite the opposite to be honest. It seems she was the kind to be enjoying the journey of life, living in the moment. A smile crossed his face as he couldn't help but appreciate the enthusiasm.

"Me? I'm a craftsmen. My passion lies in the creations of a smith, the sharpness of a honed blade... the durability of a folded steel breast plate to protect.... the strength of steel beams to hold the roof over a family's head... I live to craft... but in this moment, I thrive seeing the passions of others through their actions!"

He shouted the last of his sentence as he extended his right hand. In doing this (apex handseal steel), he caused the mass of fluid steel from before to burst forth into a mass of steel blades like a sandstorm of steel. These blades surrounded his foe like and orb rapidly spinning with Azriel's hand gestures. These blades would shred the crystal preventing them from reaching Azriel. Though, these blades would not hit his foe, simply surround them closely like prison.

"It's too early for your story to end, I hope we can write another story one day. For now, I think it's time I'm on my way..."

With that he controlled the steel blades to retract and form a disc under him lifting him and taking him into the air, away from his foe.

"Until next time!"

What this does is, the user will release their chakra into existing steel they control or one devoid of chakra (old steel jutsu they have perviously made or another shinbobi, this doesn't include weapons and such shinobi might carry) , and in doing so will take control of the steel and cause it to break down into Hundreds of tiny blades that look like small dragon scales (1inch diameter) of steel near on instantly like the shattering of glass and from their control the blades through their hand gestures or through their weapon, these blades are extremely sharp.. These blades will move in a large swamp or smaller swarms depending on how the user wishes to control them using them to strike what they want. If they chose to use it from the ground they will form the blades of steel in the ground and then cause them to shoot up from within the ground in a huge swarm to attack which they wish. As long as the user controls these blades they will only be able to use steel and elements that make up steel and it will take up one of their three moves per turn. Not only this but the technique will always be A rank, even if they use this to break down one of their S rank techniques.

Note: Usable once every two turns, being able to control the blades for up to 3 turns.

Description: This is a simple technique which can be applied by adding a single handseal when forming a steel release technique or once it has already been made. It will happen within the same time frame of the creation of the technique is used to begin with. This applies a skill seen throughout history that many blacksmiths have used, in that to make a blade stronger, they will fold the steel to reforge, keeping the blade extremely sharp while increasing its density, such as in sushi knives. This applied in RP terms is that the steel in a technique releases more steel within itself but folds and compresses into itself. This means that the steel is harder without losing its shape/sharpness/form, and in doing so makes the technique +1 rank stronger (20 damage). For example, if the user used the S rank steel release technique to create a sword, they would infuse more chakra into it using this technique, applying more steel and controlling it with fire chakra to create the folded steel effect, making the sword stronger, giving the sword +20 damage.

Note: Only useable 4 times, can only be used on a technique once and can only be used once per turn.

I was asked to check this by MJ. I'll try to keep it short as usual with these fights. The fight was enjoyable, there wasn't overly complicated moves for no reason and you both used the abilities your bios specialize in. I wouldn't say anyone had a major advantage, but Sinthorus did seem to have an easier time dealing with things, which is to be expected ig. Also, in post 5, I think MJ would have been bonked on the head with the staff, your Genjutsu wouldn't have prevented that afaik, because it isn't a paralyzing Gen, so the staff still would've landed. Apologies if I missed something, just lemme know on Discord.

Verdict : Sinthorus wins.
