Hancock sees her opponent in front of her, being in mid range, she starts off by weaving 2 handseals and channeling her doton chakra under her opponent. By doing this she turns the ground beneath the man into an adhesive mud that begins to sink his legs in the mud, making him unable to move using his legs.

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

She then proceeds onto by picking up a rock and throws it at her opponent.

Zeref appears, with a staff attached to his ninja attire and ready to battle. His opponent would be the beautiful woman, Boa Hancock. She looked extremely innocent, but of course, it was most likely her beauty that made anyone think that she wasn't capable of destruction. Zeref looked her in the eye, indicating that he was ready to battle. Soon after, the earth would quickly transform into a thick mud, that sucked anything and everything in. Without a second to spare, Zeref manipulated his body mass by sending doton chakra throughout his body, changing his weight to virtually nothing. He walked at a fast pace, through the swamp without getting sucked in. He would eventually reach the end of the swamp and stood straight on the stable floor.

Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The technique can decrease the weight of the target to virtually zero but the bigger the target, the more time is needed.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

Zeref continued by pointing his hands up in the air, gathering lightning in his hands with his lightning chakra. He points at Boa, and seconds later, a bolt of lightning would be released, aimed towards her heart. Throughout the beginning of the battle, Zeref remained calm, as he slowly but surely, examines his opponents strength to make sure that neither her or he will underestimate one another.

As Zeref raises his hands into the air and starts to charge lighting as dictated by sounds of it, Hancock immediately prepares her left hand as the lighting gets released, it allows her to absorb it through her palm.

Right after sucking the lighting technique dry, Hancock claps both of her hands together, her meiton chakra moves underneath the ground where Zeref stands. With no warning at all, no chirp or nothing, the meiton chakra bursts up attacking Zeref, leaving his insides damaged.

Description: The user releases dark chakra into the ground. Then whenever, the user claps their hands together. Right when the user claps the chakra moves to the desired place and with no warning bursts up with black chakra that causes tremedous internal damage the thing it attacks.

Without giving, Zeref any chance to recover, Hancock, wanting to give Zeref a proper burial, brings her hands together once again, and slams them onto the ground. This sends an electrical current darting towards her opponent after being afflicted from the previous attack. The lighting current would attack wherever Zeref's current position would be and wouldn't split into multiple tendrils, as Hancock wants to keep the lighting current intact.

Zeref was bewildered at the woman's abilities. Half of it was because of her unexpected fighting skills and the other half was because she had the same ability as Zeref; Dark Release. It was nostalgic fighting someone from his own class, yet exciting at the same time. He knew the workings of dark release all too well, the absorption and release of his chakra and using that chakra offensively. It was something he was familiarized with. Keeping his guard up, black chakra rose up at a rather fast pace. In quick response, Zeref released a large burst of earth chakra around his body, materializing forth a dense armor of stones and rocks capable of tanking a multitude of things, including Boa's display of lightning. Zeref would proceed by shaping a large hammer from his slightly weakened armor, and proceeding to throw it towards Boa in an attempt to knock her out.

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

Hancock was getting annoyed, she had thought if she had thrown a bunch of techniques at this man, he would have poorly defended and ended up killing himself. But no, he was defending everything but wasn't much of an attacker as shown by the rock hammer that he had just thrown at her. Hancock had simply blown it off course by a wind gale, which she had performed by clapping her hands together, compressing wind and then releasing it.

Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

Immediately she performs 1 handseal, focusing her chakra in Zeref's chakra system to cast a genjutsu. In the genjutsu, everything that Zeref sees is a dark world, no color, just black. It basically renders Zeref's sense of sight useless.

( Kokuangyo no Jutsu ) - Bringer-of-Darkness Technique

Description: The user makes one handseal, causing the opponent to believe they have been trapped in a world of infinite darkness, where their sense of sight is useless. It is capable of affecting multiple targets within range. However, it does not negate their other senses.

Immediately, upon casting the jutsu, Hancock preforms a set of handseals and slams her hand onto the ground whilst cutting her finger with her nail revealing blood. This happens in one quick, fluid motion and allows her to summon, Astrum, the King Cheetah boss. When Astrum is summoned, he starts to run towards Zeref, being mid-range, he closes the gap between them rather quickly and slams into his opponent. The damage from the hit tears Zeref's lower abdominal apart and the impact pushes him back 10-15 meters.

Description: The user bites their thumb and slams it onto the ground and summon's Astrum. Astrum while sitting upright is roughly 6 feet tall, but while standing he is about 5 foot 5 inches tall. Astrum is the fastest of all King Cheetah summoning's and all land animal based summons, he is capable of reaching his top speed very quickly when he starts running and is next to impossible to keep track of without a doujutsu, even then it is incredibly hard to follow his movements. He is capable of traveling a great distance without his summoner near him. Astrum is also capable of talking and also capable of using all lightning based techniques the user knows up to S-Rank.

Note: Only Zanji Uchiha and ~Sanji~ are capable of summoning Astrum.

Suddenly, the whole battlefield turned dark. Everything was pitch black, yet he could still feel the air around him, and everything. It seemed as if all his senses remained intact, all but one vital one, his sight. It was fairly obvious that an illusion was taking place, for one thing, everything was pitch black. And it happened rather quickly, he could still remember the darkness spreading around and knew that that was not a trait of the Dark Release Clan. Lastly, he recalled the single handseal Boa performed and concluded that it was, indeed, an illusion. With the use of a single handseal, he would dispel the illusion with a chakra surge.

Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

As the thick darkness disappeared, Zeref would come to notice an animal in front of him. Zeref soon realized the summonings speed and knew that a technique that is capable of reaching a wide area would be the only way to properly attack, and make sure that it would land. With a single handseal, Zeref would release a large wall of flames, which progressed towards the Cheetah and Boa at a fast speed and once making contact with the cheetah, would damage the cheetah and cause it to return to its home/

(Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku) - Fire release: Great Fire Majestic Annihilation

Description: A technique where the user makes the horse hand seal and then kneads chakra inside his body which is then converted into fire and expelled from the mouth as a massive wall of intense flames, which covers an expansive range in both vertical and horizontal dimensions, making it extremely difficult to avoid. However, due to its massive width and height, the technique is not one of the fastest seen so far.
