Mid.Range: Plain Field with heavy Rains​


Standing on the plain field looking in the direction of his opponent, Roo rubs his belly and lets out a contagiously big yawn before addressing his new found target.

I got some new clan moves I wanna try out. Be a sport and don't make this too easy for me, ok!? he said with an overwhelming confidence.

It was so hard to stay modest while neatly garbed in a sacred clan custom weapon relic that he now had possession of.

Description: Woven from the quill of a mythical resilient hedgehog said to have extraordinary powers that could rival a boss summon the H.H. Armor is a unique cw fashioned as a tunic, or close-fitting short coat, designed to aid shinobi of the Akimichi clan in battle through the incorporation of the tunic's features. Sleeved to the elbows and reaching to the user's knees, appearance wise the tunic is covered in numerous beautiful, tan and black sharp hedgehog quills with the Akimichi symbol branded in gold on the back. Specializing in the manipulation of the coats area of cover body-wise, and the extension and projection of its sharp needle-like quills, during battle the tunic and its numerous quills acts as an extension of an Akimichi user and is even able to increase in size proportionate them like any other item on an Akimichi's person. The combination of an Akimichi's secret techniques and/or basic taijutsu combined with the manipulation of the H.H. Armor joins to make a specialized form of close quarter combat that is more destructive in nature verses the normal, basic usages. Besides the usages that can be achieved through activation, users of the CW can also passively activate it's effects to a minor degree once per turn within the same time frame as another Akimichi/Taijutsu technique. Passive activation adds +10 chakra points to the Tai/Akimichi jutsu used in unison with, increasing its damage accordingly as the coating of needle-like quill further hardens and sharpens as the tunic stretches to encompass the entire limb(s) or abdomen before use thus boosting its effectiveness.
Quill Extension ( A rank ) | Short Range
A simple manipulation jutsu that can be activated after paying the appropriate chakra. Upon activation the quills of the H.H. Armor sharpen, harden, and extends outwards within a 5m radius puncturing all, except the user, within its grasps. It is best used as a follow up technique after attacking a target who may choose to block instead of evade. The size of the quills are relative to the user's body size and can range from as small as a needle while normal size, as big as an arrow in regular Expansion, but can grow to the size of a thick spear while in Super Expansion form.
►Has a 1 turn cooldown with each use.

Quill Projection (A rank | Short-Long)
Yet another simple manipulation jutsu of the H.H. Armor but this technique requires a bit more focus and is triggered after paying the appropriate chakra. Upon activation 1-4 dense, sharpened quills of the tunic are fired off at high speeds in any linear direction aimed for with great accuracy in attempts to skewer the desired target(s). It is best used as a follow up technique after attacking a target who may choose to evade instead of block, and while in trajectory the quills move as fast as a lightning technique. The size of the quills are relative to the user's body size and can range from as small as a needle while normal size, as big as an arrow in regular Expansion, but can grow to the size of a thick spear while in Super Expansion form.
►Has a 2 turn cooldown with each use and can be used 6 times per battle.

Human Hedgehog (S rank | -10 Chakra per turn | +20 to Tai/Akimichi)
The supreme use of its passive activation and also the main noted skill of the H.H. Armor is the advanced manipulation of the tunic in order to completely coat the body in the armors dangerous quills from head to toe. Offensive, defensive, and supplementary in nature the armor once activated protects the user from C rank and below physical damage due to its supremely dense nature, all quills becoming a dark black color, which also reflects the damage boosts given to the CQC fields listed. Akimichi's further benefit from the armor's advance activation because of the fact that the quills of the tunic extend an additional 1m from the body, also serving as its activation cue, which also slightly extends the range of expansion techniques accordingly. The size of the quills are relative to the user's body size and can range from as small as a needle while normal size, as big as an arrow in regular Expansion, but can grow to the size of a thick spear while in Super Expansion form.
►Lasts for 5 turns upon activation ►Can be activated 2x per battle ►After 5 turns the user is hampered to B rank and below tai/akmichi/quill jutsu for the next 2 turns

Within mere moments two lightning bolts would then follow and fall from the sky directly above the wild looking man, striking in consecutive order. All the while watching in curiosity Roo begins to feel a rush of excitement as he waits to see if the man had any special talents.

This low frequency, inaudible sound is passively emitted and has no effect other than emerging from him and bouncing off of objects. Using the enhanced hearing, the user is able to know where everything is around them, effectively creating a sonar effect through the rebound and reflection of sound waves. The hearing and the sonar effect is precise enough so that one can effectively use it to substitute one's vision in battle if needed. Despite being very effective, specially if the user has any of his other senses hindered, it also leaves the user vulnerable to sound genjutsu or sound attacks which will be much more drastic in its effects.

It had been awhile since 21 had done any sort of training or battling ever since he got disgusted by the world in general...smoking wood had been more of an hobby to him these days and wherever he goes, a blunt or two keeps his company. The man standing mid range away from was awfully obese, he was one fat, over sized ninja whose physical appearance was trashy to the stoned man. Maybe the man wasn't that bad, maybe he was, maybe it was just the weed that was kicking in to his system gradually - anyways the feeling was legit as his head felt lighter and open, his thought process seemed magnified. The only that sucks is the rain that was dripping cause trouble for his blunt to stay alive - tired from covering it from the rain, 21 would inhale one final long puff before dousing the flames of the blunt. He does the thing as he exhales the smoke for like 15 full seconds before sighing out loud. Just suddenly, two lightning bolts would strike him from above and force his knee to the ground (residual damage from the strike) but he is left unscathed as smoke escapes from his body, Iris had tanked the blow he had no idea of since he was probably high not to notice as the odd looking raised his hand up to trigger the offensive assault.
"Sneaky, eh?"
As his knee touches the ground, 21 would follow up by slamming his right hand on the ground as he manipulates the earth beneath Roo's left foot to drop inwards suddenly at high speeds causing the man to jerk awkwardly to his left as he gets his foot stuck in the pit that is designed to fit the leg perfectly though like 5m deep. The man would lose his balance while also sustaining adequate damage to his groin area as 21 continues by forcing gigantic rocks to erupt from around the fallen man that pierces his waist, ribs, thighs, arm and head as they rise from the ground around the targeted area. 21 remains in his position as he watches the onslaught, it would seem he had frozen in time - or maybe it was just the weed...lol

Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Then suddenly the ground began to rumble as it lowered accordingly, putting the hefty man leg deep in a pit, but luckily as it happened the Akimichi was smart enough to fall on his right knee in order to brace the fall and protect his groin. And he said I'm sneaky!?

In response to falling in the pit the Akimichi would activate a special ninjutsu allowing him to expand his two free arms and pull himself out of the pit and perform a powerful somersault forwardly advancing 3ms. Within his acrobatic rotation forwards he would reduce in size before re-expanding his left foot while his sacred tunic coats and empowers it in order to perform a powerful heel kick to the head of his target ceasing all forward advancment as the force cracks the ground beneath the target.

The man would spring into an acrobatic show off as he flips towards 21 who would react instinctively after the first somersault by charging chakra into the earth causing a large amount of mud to burst out of the ground perfectly timed to meet the man after his first land which would rise from below and around him (in a 3m diameter) before clinging on to his body, sticking to it then hardening into solid rock with the victim placed within the tombstone. Rising to his feet, 21 would make a single seal and course chakra to be circulated around his skin, hardening it to steel like quality under the famed Iris unknown to the opponent. While throwing an explosive note tagged kunai at the tombstone, 21 would move backwards a few meters to keep the man still in mid range, he wasn't ready to get close just yet.

continues to constrict around the opponent,
growing tighter and tighter until it eventually
crushes them with immense force. Multiple
tombstones can be created to encase and destroy
multiple enemies, or a single large tombstone can
be created to destroy a group of enemies, or one
large enemy. The Tombstone created can be no
larger than Gamakichi and if multiple Tombstones
are created, their total size combined cannot
exceed that of Gamakichi.

You told me the mud was meant to trigger as I land but I did the somersault kick mid.air meaning you ignored and took damage. With your higher durability I would say 75-40 would be your damage taken

21 would remain in his crouched position as the man wittingly lands on his knees in reaction to the earth dropping downwards below his left leg. The man would spring into an acrobatic show off as he flips towards 21 who would react instinctively after the first somersault by charging chakra into the earth causing a large amount of mud to burst out of the ground perfectly timed to meet the man after his first land which would rise from below and around him (in a 3m diameter) before clinging on to his body, sticking to it then hardening into solid rock with the victim placed within the tombstone. Rising to his feet, 21 would make a single seal and course chakra to be circulated around his skin, hardening it to steel like quality under the famed Iris unknown to the opponent. While throwing an explosive note tagged kunai at the tombstone, 21 would move backwards a few meters to keep the man still in mid range, he wasn't ready to get close just yet.

Description: The user will release their chakra into
the ground, then by manipulating their chakra,
they cause an abundance of adhesive sticky mud
to burst up from the ground around and beneath
the opponent(s). The mass of mud quickly forming
into a tombstone-like shape while clinging to the
target, then quickly hardens and encases the whole
of the opponent in solid rock. The rock quickly
continues to constrict around the opponent,
growing tighter and tighter until it eventually
crushes them with immense force. Multiple
tombstones can be created to encase and destroy
multiple enemies, or a single large tombstone can
be created to destroy a group of enemies, or one
large enemy. The Tombstone created can be no
larger than Gamakichi and if multiple Tombstones
are created, their total size combined cannot
exceed that of Gamakichi.
Note: User is unable to use Water above S-rank in
the same turn and the turn after.

Description: After performing the Snake hand seal
the user will channel their chakra throughout their
entire body, which then hardens their skin to a
steel-like quality. This increases their defensive
power to the utmost limits. The user’s skin also
becomes much darker, an almost black colour. The
destructive power of physical attacks is increased,
making this a great, all purpose technique. But this
technique when activated leaves the user
vulnerable to lightning based techniques.
Note: Kakuzu bios can use this technique without the need for handseals​

Successfully landing the somersault kick, Roo smirks and murmers to humself.

I knew he wasnt that tough!? but little did the Akimichi know that he'd be in a rude awakening once landing back on the ground.

Upon landing the ground begins to quake before bursting up as a plethora of mud within the plump shinobi's immediate vicinity starting from the legs upwards prompting him to initiate a lightening defense with 1 hand seal nullifying and ending earth tombstone.

Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow. However the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques while sustaining the technique. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active and use it to ram against them. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for up to 3 turns

Roo says as his opponent seemingly throws several explosive kunai forwards while trying to retreat. Reacting with a single hand seal his opponent would suddenly become immobilized mid movement stopping his escape as Roo runs forwards while dodging the explosive kunai while throwing some explosive tags of his own. The thug looking man would see countless butterflies approaching him swiftly as he sinks into the floor at high speeds as well. The explosive tags would decorate the man and the area around him as Roo enters and stops at the start of short range in order to place the last one on his skull.

Description: The user makes one handseal, placing the opponent in a genjutsu. The user then tosses a large number of explosive tags at the opponent. To the opponent, it looks as if they are countless butterflies. The opponent then believes they are sinking into the ground, in reality making them immobilized; this allows the user to place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

Putting the last tag on the knuckles of his left hand, Roo would take a solid stance before throwing forwards that same arm as a punch that he applies the Super Partial Expansion to. Expanding beyond belief the punch rams into the man, also placing the tag, while further expanding to its limits where the man is then hoisted off in a disorderly form after taking massive blunt damage.

Roo would then detonate the tags covering the man further maximizing damage.

Description: The user spreads his legs apart in order to maintain balance as he throws a punch, while adding Super Partial-Expansion to their whole arm in order to rapidly change its fist size and arm length, resulting in the opponent getting hit by a heavy and powerful 4m tall, 5m wide close range punch. Super Partial-Expansion allows the user's arm to grow longer, as it expands, allowing them to have the total reach of close range plus 5ms. Being hit by the punch's force and power would feel the same as getting hit by a large boulder thus resulting in great blunt damage to the opponents body while also sending them into mid.range scraping along the ground. The use of Super Partial-Expansion in this technique also gives the user the ability to destroy earth/solid, structured water techniques of B rank and below.

Besides the usages that can be achieved through activation, users of the CW can also passively activate it's effects to a minor degree once per turn within the same time frame as another Akimichi/Taijutsu technique. Passive activation adds +10 chakra points to the Tai/Akimichi jutsu used in unison with, increasing its damage accordingly as the coating of needle-like quill further hardens and sharpens as the tunic stretches to encompass the entire limb(s) or abdomen before use thus boosting its effectiveness.
