Ice just edit or forfeit. The earth jutsu wouldn't absorb the sound waves, so they would just wrap around it, continuously bouncing around until they eventually hit you.

Being that emperor is not affected by his own sound waves you would still have to post a counter to defeat him.

Good and valid point, but he would take damage from the initial release of the jutsu, thus making it forbidden, but it wouldn't kill him or when the jutsu was submitted in the custom thread it would have been declined because the initial release would kill him.
