Pretty sure Kakuzu was flying when he was fighting Naruto. I'm also pretty sure some of his beasts can fly, the lighting one in particular.

Onoki can make multiple rock clones and have them circle around Kakuzu while in flight. Kakuzu will get tagged and turned heavy while the real Onoki one shots with jinton.

Low-mid diff win for Onoki who can evade all of Kakuzu's attacks with ease, block them with a giant doton golem or go underground to escape.

Onoki high diff., ignoring his age

kakuzu has the ability to pressure him, so onoki will need clones, meaning jinton won't come into play. & onoki will have to stay on the ground 4 defense at times,
but rock clones will eventually touch him, slow him down & rock-punch some of his masks.
. kakuzu will try to split & go underground when he is heavy, he'll then get crushed by a mountain sandwich, or onokis euqivalent earth tech trap.

earth really is the best element
