Probably but the Chameleon is invisible so Mu getting its eyes accurately is a different thing when its mouth is opened. Which is why Itachi was shown to attack it while it was visible

When Muu starts to feel himself be drawn in he just makes himself heavy, he doesn't need to anticipate it. Onoki was able to lighten Turtle Island to where it was lighter than air. If they can make themselves heavy to a similar extent then they would be way too heavy for Pain to draw them in. Deva needs to reveal himself in order to attack like in canon.
Mu would already be drawn but if he does make himself heavy to such an extent, then Deva quickly counters by firing a chakra rod at him(Like another Rinnegan user did

) making it impossible for him to dodge. Then he becomes controlled. Not to mention Asura can take advantage of his inability to move quickly and attack him.
-Onoki and Muu have a couple ways to force Deva to reveal himself, either by casting large scale jinton and forcing Deva to repel it, or Muu kills another path with an invisible sword attack and then Deva reveals himself to use BT on Muu. Remember Muu can split bodies so he can kill two paths at the same time with invisible attacks, for example Asura and Preta.
How are they even casting this Jinton? Mu can't do it while invisible but at the same time he'll be destroyed if he exposes himself. He'll be disrupted if anything. Same for Onoki.
There's the fact that Asura path has a metal like body so a sword cutting him is most likely not happened especially when lightened. Being heavy requires obvious/heavy movements and slow reactions as well. He'll definitely be caught either way even if his attacks somehow becomes successful. Asura wasn't completely destroyed after this (

Nothing less than Shinra Tensei is destroying that golem, and when Deva reveals himself to use it Onoki or Muu can target him with jinton.

- The Mazou would destroy Golem. Add the summons and it's finished.
- Clones are engaged by Human Path and Animal Path with their rods. Human takes their souls out or they can use their receivers to simply take them out.
