OnePunchMan How strong is Genos?

The guy seems to always get beat, but at the same time an S class. Is he considered to be a weak S class or is he in the mid tier of it yet? I recently started One punch man.

I don't see him losing to any of the current S- classes except for maybe Tatsumaki

Its hard to show off how strong a character is when the character he shown side-by-side with in the manga/anime is a character who literally one-shots everything.

Really? I have a hard time believing that the seaking would beat any of the topish S class, maybe I could be wrong tho.

But he's stronger than puri puri prisoner lol.

Well at the anime point he is at 16, I went on ahead to manga and I forgot what rank he is when I saw him.

I'd say he's either an upper mid-tier or low-high tier among the S-classes.

He is like a fragile andriod. It's only some much he body can handle

He deserves a place in top 10 S class. He mainly gets screwed over for comic relief, but at the same time he's inexperienced, noting that he tends to drop his guard too easily

The Seaking is on another level, much how that Ninja that constantly challenges Saitama is (forgot his name). Besides Tatsumaki, most of the heroes don't stand a chance against the high tier villains

I'd think he could beat most of the S-Class heroes aside from a select few(around 4),
the only thing stopping him is his body, though he gets upgrades pretty often.

I'd say with these in mind, Genos can be Top 10 easily.

The only reason Genos lost to the Deep Sea King was because he saved the little girl from dying. I don't think Genos would not be able to defeat the Deep Sea King.

Genos is actually quite powerful. The only problem is his inexperience that allows his enemies to get the better of him.
Plus this manga tries to emphasize on the deceptive attribute of appearances. Just because you look badass doesn't mean you'll be the one to come out on top.

Take King for example we were all meant to believe that he was badass being top 5 in the S class rankings meanwhile he doesn't do anything.

It seems Saitama somehow hit the jackpot by telling Genos to break the Top 10, because that doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon. I hate how he gets tossed around like that. Episode 12 will probably show him getting wrecked again... and by an annoying loli nonetheless.

He pretty much did, or it was implied he could. Sonic couldn't do jack to hurt Genos, while the latter cut off Sonic's hood, and afterwards Saitama broke the fight. Eventually Sonic himself would've been hurt or beheaded.
