So I've started to watch OP. I'm by episode 130 something and I must say that the characters really look stupid. I don't find it funny. "Mr.2" he's not at all funny.
What's so awesome about OP?.. Share me your thoughts people.

It's the best anime/manga ever created. Stick with it, yes it may seem stupid at first but then it just gets better and better. Marineford arc, Eines Lobby, those arcs just blow every anime or anything anime related I have ever seen. I can't even compare OP with Naruto, OP simply stomps. Seriously man, watch it, you wont regret it!

To me it has the best and most all encompasing art, best story, some of the best fights, by far the best characters, best powers, has most imagination in it, is the funniest, has the best places/world, is the most epic, an One Piece chapter usually has more content than several chapters of Naruto combined (the new OP chapter had more than the last 5 Naruto chapters lol ... Maybe not as much but close) once you read OP other chapters just look way too short and empty, ...

I got hooked on the vast world.
The character designs remind me of The Legend Of Zelda Wind Waker. I like them.
Oda equally gives each amount of the strawhats screentime (obviously Luffy get's the most.)
Plus the Marineford arc > Naruto war arc.
Plus the comedy in One Piece is brilliant.
Although I wish Oda would do something about Nami's costume's. Sluttt.
So yeah.. One Piece > Naruto.

After the timeskip it starts declining, but you're barely on the Skypiea arc. Just be patient...

Soon comes the best arc in the show.

Thanks guys.. I'll keep watching. But the thing about one piece is that one must watch a lot of episodes to really like it. When I started with naruto, I watched about less than 10 episodes and I started to like it.

As for the anime, it gets bearable around where you're at, definitely at the Alabasta arc. So hang in there and my advice is not to listen too much to what others have to say about the series. Shape your own view on it.

Well, about the anime, it's almost ancient where it begins, so it isn't hard to understand why you say that. One thing would be to read the first part so as to give you a more overall understanding of the story.

I like OP anime better than Code Geass, AoT (which is seriously overrated imo) and Deathnote, though I never saw Hellsing but I'm willing to bet my limbs that for me it wouldn't top OP

Since you don't follow OP and offer no constructive criticism only bashing and hate according to what kind of logic do you open so many threads about something you hate? Because haters logic has always eluded me seriously ... i don't get how anyone can spend so much time going to sites about somwthing they hate. Normal people would consider it a waste of time.

luffy makes naruto of part 1 looks like a joke in terms of idiocy. A 17-19 years old or more idiot. Even now,if you are watching in hope of,in words of one piece fans,"just keep going,it just gets better" you better stop,cause it doesn't. Though zoro gets more and more badass till the end.
Well in simple words,every op char. is one-dimensional,pure dark or light,past of characters which got the capacity of becoming good emotional scene becomes nothing but a joke,char. are exaggaretely motivated for no good reason,they over-cry for no good reason,and thus it's nothing but an over-rated piece in japan,topping sales only charts but not sales ratio.

please do provide scenes from manga that prove how characters are supposedly 1 dimensional, that they cry too much, that they are too motivated for no reason ...

aimed at haters in general: how do haters get the section wrong every single time, how do they click on something of which title indicates that it's about something they dislike, and above all please explain to me how do haters know enough about One Piece to properly judge it or compare it to anything? and If you indeed have read enough of it what kind of brains do you have to have to spend so much time doing something you hate and you think sucks that much? ... but than again maybe it's not the haters fault since they were born with their ''brains'' a little backwards

I didn't wanna bring this up since it really isn't an indicator (or is it) on quality of the anime, but check the sales? Check YouTube, OP is almost like a religion in those countries. Seriously, I know it's you opinion but how the f*ck did you not like OP ? It's like saying you don't like candy or sth.

What's the point from telling someone who doesn't get along with the manga\anime that we enjoy it?
