[Suggestion] One piece rp Section.

It is a thought I have been having. Instituting a sub section for RPG's for things other than just naruto. I know this is NarutoBase and all but I figured it would bring in a broader audience than just having one RPG.

Ideas for the One Piece section:

• Bios. The same as The Naruto RP but with DF's and Fighting styles/haki instead of Ninjutsu
• Crews having to be formally requested through mods.
• Amount of loot gained through wins and losses must be added to Crew Bio's
• Selecting an affiliation. (Pirate/Revolutionary/Marine)
• Instituting a Rank system for the marines.
• Having high ranking marines be able to post a thread giving out a Bounty to Pirates and Revolutionaries instead of ranks for them
• (This is just spit balling here I am a noob to giving suggestions so i am very open to constructive criticism.

Even if not this indepth just having a group be formed to have a section like this would suffice.

What do you NB'ers think?

While it may sound like a good idea, there was once a Bleach RP as well in the forums, one that became official with its own subforums and rules. However, due to two different systems existing at once, the Naruto and Bleach one, it lead to either one being active and the other dead, or both having overlapping periods of inactivity. As we were first and primarily a Naruto based site, hence the name lol, the Bleach system was scrapped and later removed. If a One Piece system were to arise, I predict much the same things. It being moderately active towards the beginning while the naruto RP suffers a large cut in members and activity and eventually, these two systems battling for members and activity until the OP system is ultimately removed. Thats not me being negative, thats being positive.

Too big of a RP System to implement for its own section, in my opinion. You also have to think about the "ratings" and structure; who is organizing and who would be participating. You should consider testing or Beta within the Non-RP Section and use Groups before thoughts of implementing.

I probably should atleast see if i can get it going in a group and keep it small before i even try to make it a big thing. Which i shouldnt because this is a NB site.

It may not be official just yet because of other complications but you can make a group and organize an RP within it and make threads in Non Naruto RP section if needed. There are always people who may want to try something different. There is no 'shouldn't' about it.

You are suggesting a totally new system which I think will compete with already existing system and hence will result into division of RPers, as stated by Madara Uchiha above.
In addition to that I think managing two RP systems at a same point of time will be tough for mods too. If you look at current Naruto RP system you will find that it is quiet vast, and hence mods have to give their large amount of time while managing it, it has CV, CC, sage system, village system, wars etc. So I don't think that mods should start a completely new system rather should work on making existing one better.U_U

It may not be official just yet because of other complications but you can make a group and organize an RP within it and make threads in Non Naruto RP section if needed. There are always people who may want to try something different. There is no 'shouldn't' about it.

There you can RP whatever you want. Alternatively you can always make a social group and do it there, we are not however going to make a separate (sub) section for OP with official rules and structures. We already have our hands full on our Naruto RP. The only time it would even be considered doing that, is when an already existing OP RP would have a rudimentary organization and is incredibly popular.
