[Question] One Piece Power Rankings

In Naruto, fans like to use ranks to rank characters into tiers based on opinion. For example, Sakura = low-jounin level, Hashirama = high-kage level and Kiba = high chunin level. We base these off of the ninja ranks: Genin, Chunin, Jonin, Kage and one that is not a ninja rank but is necessary - God (or whatever you wanna call it) (Juubi Jins, SO6P ect).

But what would I use to rank a One Piece character's power?

I don't really find kage to be a rank so much as it is a title,much like sannin. Although I've seen people use that as a rank as well

also sometimes thy rank them accorrding to their bounty^^ as in 100 million, 400 million etc

A lot of the ranking for One Piece I've seen is like:
-Yonko
-Admiral(High, Mid, Low)
-Warlord
-Vice Admiral
etc

That is just nonsense. In Naruto, everyone is rank accordingly in the Ninja System: Genin to Kage. Others are classified by particular groups. If I was a One Piece Fan, than I would not accept that.

I would say bounties but we don't know everyone's bounty and Chopper has a bounty of 50 :/

There are simply none.
As a pirate you just get high ass bounties and be badass, fighting for freedom.
admirals/marines just try to stop these badass pirates from doing so.

ranking? naa.. you just make a name for yourself and a highbounty.
as someone else said, ya theres like admiral, vice admiral and stuff.. but i dunno.
like yonko, supernova,warlords, blah~

Makes no sense. Yonko>Admiral? It's not. I'd say they're the same essentially. Except, Yonko have very powerful crews to back them. Some Yonko may be stronger and some weaker. They are in the same league though. Shichibukai? They range from Buggy, Chopper level, to Mihawk, an admiral level fighter. Better to simply use Marine ranks that is Admiral, Vice Admiral and so on. Use High, Mid and Low Levels for each tier. Don't use Yonko Level or Shichibukai Level.

people use the marine and pirate "titles/ranks" for these. admiral, vice admiral, (marine) captain, yonko, shichibukai, (pirate) captain, first mate, etc. tho these are really just pointers since everyone has a different level of power. a captain of a pirate ship may outclass the other pirate captain in terms of power and such. not even bounties tell the difference between power levels properly. bounties were given in response of being a threat to the world government and the crimes committed. for example Robin got a high bounty as a child just because he could read the poneglyphs (spelling -.-"), or Buggy getting the title of shichibukai for serving under Gold Roger and commanding a bunch of high class criminals.

I would just follow the Marine Ranks and Compare characters to those within certain ranks to identify their "tier"
