This was going around YouTube and social media, but I never saw it tried here so...
You are the captain of your own pirate crew. There are certain things you must mention 1. What is your Devil Fruit power (if you have one) (Make up your own or choose existing one) (if you aren't a Devil Fruit user, say "non-Devil Fruit user")
2. What role would you play on the crew besides captain?
3. Pick 12 One Piece characters (six fighters and six supports) and form a crew that you believe could handle the New World and help you become Pirate King. (Specify fighters and supporters and what supporters help with)
There is only one real restriction:
1. You cannot have any Yonko (past or present) on your crew. Kaido, Big Mom, Blackbeard, Shanks and Whitebeard are off limits. (Film and filler characters are allowed)
I'm adding a personal rule for myself as to make it more interesting, but no ones obligated to follow it.
(optional restriction) must include Luffy's essential crew core
( sniper, doctor, cook, musician, navigator, shipwright swordsman)
For my pirate crew tag challenge I will be making up my own DF, something along the lines of the link-link no mi, or synchronize synchronize fruit. The gist of the fruit would be paramecia, any person I touch has their senses and consciousness shared amongst the user and recipients. What my crew see's, feels, tastes, etc is shared. Besides the draw backs of fear and pain. It would allow for unparalleled team work and combinations. Being able to communicate through the DF to coordinate attacks almost instantly. It would have range and number restrictions. On top of that I woukd train in observation Haki to enhance or compliment the DF.
My role on the ship would be navigator and tactician. My DF allowed me to quickly acquire skills and knowledge through links. It also helps unlock or brings out the potential in others by allowing others better understanding of the people currently linked.
Now I designed the crew to create a deadly set of skills and knowledge and ridiculous combination in battle, whilst being waay more modest than most of these posts.
In no particular order and alternating from support to fighter, support fighter etc...
1.Nico Robin (support) : invaluable for the pursuit of OP. amazing skill set and not much more really needs to be explained.
2.Jinbe (fighter): again not much explanation needed, amazing fighter. Plus fishmen to retrieve DF who might fall in.
3. Sugar (support) HAX DF, toy slave army, can erase all memories of anyone she turns into a toy. Which a fact that I think maybe over looked a little, is how ****ing broken this is...not only are your slaves families forgeting all about them...but imagine my crew is being pursued by a fleet of marines, if sugar turns the crew to toys "temporary" the pursuit should stop or the hear could lesson significantly as the entire world forgets about us.
4. Trafalgar D. Law (fighter, Doctor): the core and main backbone of my crews deadly combination's. Again HAX DF, that I shouldn't have to explain. But Laws shambles ability and other body modifications are what will be exploited specifically.
5. Baby 5 (support, sniper): now here's where the fun starts. 1st Baby 5 will fill the sniper and primary ships artillery roles. When combined with my link-link and Law's Op-op shambles ability, Baby 5 is able to be pieced out, and she can manipulate the pieces just as if it was her body but in a smaller scale. So like a few 4-6 members could have a sentient weapon able to switch from sword, gun, grenade, shoulder mounted predator gun, etc..
6. Scratchman Apoo (Fighter?, Musician): This one is a little fun out of left field pick. As per my special rules I needed a musician, and didn't want obligitory Brook. Not much is know but he's my random wild card, part of the worst generation, and didn't get destroyed by kizaru, so that's something...
7. Buffalo (support): he was already shown to be a good combo maker with baby 5, and with the Link-link and Op-op just like baby five, buffalo can be operated and given to several individuals for personal flight, be made into sentient shurican, quartered and bound to a small vessel for flight, made into a giant fan to propel a sail, or the ship through the air...
8. Shiki (fighter, swordsmen) Shiki is my not modest pick. I wanted a flying pirate crew, his DF plus buffalo plus others makes for a faster more maneuverable flying ship. Plus Shiki is of unfair level strength rivaling the likes of Rodger, white beard, Garp sen goku, etc...
9. Brûlée (support): this DF is the nuts! Allows the user to reflect attacks, make copies, travel to a mirror dimension, and Travers instantly through the mirrors. Again using this potentially broken ability and adding law and a link ability can achieve the ridiculous...firstly law can replace everyone's stomach with a mirror so the crew can get to one another quickly. Plus could make a Bege esq. Ability since the mirror dimension can store things, or Baby 5 can snipe through it. Put mirrors on the bottom of the boat to put pesky DF users through. The combos are endless, not to mention if law can put a part of Brûlée in everyone so they can access the mirror world freely...
10. Sabo (fighter): again most his feats speak for themselves. Combo ideas include him plus baby 5 for enhanced attacks. He can fly and use the fire for air propulsion.
11. Franky (support, shipwright): side note wanted Vega Punk, but too much unknown, tho I'm sure he's smart and capable enough to be a shipwright he could also be a brain In a computer. So Franky was logical, brings allot to the crew, enhanced weapons, superior ship designs, cool weapons and features.
12. Sanji (fighter, cook): Sanji flirts the line of support or fighter, but he's too strong to be just a support. Besides the cooking, and the power, he also compliments the flight theme with his sky walk, and has Haki, and is a non.DF user which is still very important in a crew of primarily DF users..
So that's it for my crew, what did you think, agree/disagree? Who would you choose?
