One Piece or Naruto?

Could someone recommend some OP episodes to watch or read. I've given it a chance but the episodes seem too childish. However, this is the same thing I thought about the first episodes of Naruto and Dragonball (now i love them and can't imagine a life without them XD ). For instance I would recommend the episode of Naruto where team Hawk takes on the Eight tails to someone that would want to see an episode of Naruto at it's best as well as intrigue the watcher to learn more about what is going on.

That's his opinion.

I agree with half of your post. I started watching/ reading One Piece during the time when naruto became popular. Stop watching/reading OP in 2009 or 2010 (I read some of the newer ones in 2011) Lost interest in the whole plot.I'm not really into anime/manga anyways. So after Naruto and Bleach I won't bother reading any other anime.

so yeah OP is better manga wise, but i prefer Naruto more, just a preference.

Yea, I know what you mean with Naruto being more mature. I think you mean that Narutos overall story is much more darker and serious than One Piece, making it more mature. While One Piece goes into some serious stuff itself, and some real life issues and has a couple of dark stuff in the series, the overall story of the series is less mature. What I like about One Piece is the variation it has, dark/light, funny/serious. Like Naruto having a funny side to it, while One Piece being much funnier, One Piece has a serious and mature side to it, but Naruto has much more of it.

Actually, many popularity polls in Japan says One Piece is better. The sales say One Piece is better. The rating of One Piece is better than the rating of One Piece.
Naruto is better spread worldwide and more television networks show Naruto rather than One Piece in the western world, but that is only popularity. Rating is what matters, and One Piece beats Naruto in rating worldwide. Example that I've used many times; Rebecca Black. Not to pick on the poor girl, but she is known world wide, she has MANY millions of views on her songs on Youtube, but have you seen her likes/dislikes?

She is a lot more popular than some other artists, but that doesn't mean she is a better singer, or entertainer.

So actually, it is not my opinion. It is a fact. Maybe Naruto is the better manga for you, but the fact is One Piece is better for most, maybe not you, but most.

I still see it as an opinion (OP fans opinion or appraisal over others.) Not everyone is going to like OP,or rate it the same.Which is true, seeing what most people post on here.

one piece. i was a naruto fan but naruto just got boring. same old crap. naruto loosing and all of a sudden beats the enemy through the power of friendship. never see naruto with consistency and its plain boring. OP has funny episodes and even the fillers are great.

And I see why many people don't watch OP, the start seemd very bad to me. Actualy so bad I couldn't bring myself to watch it (anime).

Same reason I didn't watch it at first, bu now it's my favorite, so people who use that argument should just go and watch it because it'll be totally worth it in the end U_U
