One Piece or Fairy Tail ?

Same here. Dropped FT at the end of its anime, didn't think it was worth reading the manga afterwards.

Honestly the new arc has so far been awesome. people actually dying for once.


OT: Pirates or Mages: take your pick.

Why not both?

Fairy Tail is shorter, so you might wanna go with that one first.
After that go ahead with One Piece and take your time for it, causse it's a long run of episodes and most of the new watchers quit watching before it gets really interesting

this right here , ppl are always *****ing towards one piece , saying that the series its boring and it doesn't live for the hype omfg ... i sure don't get ppl these days lol.

All I'm going to say is that Fairy tails "Grand magic games arc" is the worse arc i've read in any manga.

while one piece's "Ennies Lobby arc" and "Marineford arc" are two of my top 10 arcs of all time in any manga i've ever read.

I recommend Fairy Tail. It has great action, comedy, mystic, magic..

One Piece was afwul for me, never have I liked it. Drawing is miserable there. Just my opinion. But if you like pirates more than magic, go for OP.

Personally I would choose something else entirely.. Fairy Tail manga is decent though until the last couple of chapters it was getting pretty ridiculous.. And on One Piece that series is way too long seriously even reading it would take forever. And I know I am gonna get flamed for this but One Piece just isn't very good...(my opinion) also yes I have read most of it I just don't really like pirates at all the premise is just meh...

Try: YuYu Hakusho or Trigun.. or if your looking for something that is ongoing try Toriko it's actually really good I thought it was gonna be stupid because they were hunting ingredients but it's pretty awesome..
