One Piece or Fairy Tail ?

I'm looking for a new anime and can't decide which one to choose.. what would you recommend to a newcomer like me? Which one is better?

Why not both?

Fairy Tail is shorter, so you might wanna go with that one first.
After that go ahead with One Piece and take your time for it, causse it's a long run of episodes and most of the new watchers quit watching before it gets really interesting

I'd go with Fairy Tail, it's pretty good. I haven't seen One Piece either though...So my opinion is kind of one sided.

Same here. Dropped FT at the end of its anime, didn't think it was worth reading the manga afterwards.

That's one of the biggest lies I've ever seen. The manga declines even more than its beginning. Oracion Seis - Tenroujima were Fairy Tail's golden time. Festival arc was alright and Phantom Lord introduced Gajeel and Juvia so yeah. Everything else is either boring or trashy. Fairy Tail outdid itself with trashy material with the tournament arc.

One Piece isn't prone to being bad. Everyone knows Enies Lobby and Marineford outshine the other arcs. After the timeskip, just like FT, it's not as good as it was. But the first half of One Piece was plain dope.

Read the FT Manga. Watch the OP anime. It is faster paced than the manga (much faster) and you will catch up faster. From there read the manga.

One Piece is heaps better but FT is still pretty good.
