Figured there was a connection between Izo and Kikunojo. It would have been rather un-Oda-ish that there wouldn't be a connection between two very feminate male samurai.

This chapter was terrible. The pacing was so atrocious and several characters were contradicted. Plus, the plot hole opened with Oden is just so sloppy. Can’t wait to actually read it

That's a good call, all I could think looking at those feathers was Doffy but I knew it couldn't be him. Now I'm thinking the other might be John which would be neat if he's brought up again because I always wanted to see a resolution with Buggy and that arm band he got from Luffy.
