About the swords, I think he will lose Shusui because it's clearly is going to play a bigger part later on. If you looks at the names of the blades and Oda swaps Shuisui for Nidai Kitetsu he'll end up with:

Wado Ichimonji
Niidai Kitetsu
Sandai Kitetsu

Might be nothing, might be one of those little Oda details.

Another thing that popped into my mind, there is so much hunger in parts that are controlled by Kaidou's forces. Maybe a calamity is in control of that, like... famine ?

Ni and san are already supposed to refer to 2nd and 3rd as the both of them are part of a set of three swords. So personally I'm really not going to put much value on that coincidentally there's an ichi in Ichimonji, in particular because it's not translated as one. We're over 900 chapters far now, so I would find it a bit pointless from Oda to now suddenly have Zoro three swords that say one, two, three.

Yeah it's time the discussion about the Three Calamities is resumed, it got pushed back somewhat due to WCI-arc. Honestly their epithet sounds threatening, but I felt it kind of weird how someone with a mammoth zoan gets called "the Drought". Famine definitely fits the profile of a calamity, though it really feels off. I mean imagine something donning the name Bert the Famine. Also famine is often a result of a drought. So to me it lacks impact and uniqueness. My personal favorite though remains one of them being named the Plague.

My theory might come true partially Zoro might get a stronger Kitetsu sword but instead of the Shodai like I said he might have to settle with the Nidai which is still an earlier version compared to Zoro's. Zoro looks so fuuuucking badass with that overcoat. Luffy is so much like Zoro, Captain and vice captain things I guess. Also Luffy was about to pull out the katana at the end so I wonder if he plans on using it, wil be interesting.

Lol Luffy using a sword, cant imagine thats going to go well but I wouldnt be surprised if he was at least half way decent with one. I expect him to do an air slash that fails miserably to hit any one lol.

I cant imagine Hawkins getting stomped in this exchange, Oda knows hes the underdog in this predicament and neither Zoro or Luffy know how his abilities work. I expect him to show off his abilities and either beat Zoro and Luffy by outsmarting them with his tricky DF or simply showcase some of its abilities and just try to ally with Luffy. But I expect those two minions to be on the wrong side of Hawkins voodo dolls next chapter lol.

Luffy is already seeing in the future. He isn't gonna grab the sword knowing it's not gonna work. Even if he isn't good with a sword, he will still be dangerous with it for the simple fact he can see in the future, he will know exactly how Hawkins fruit is gonna work because he can see what's coming. He will know the other guys will be burnt up before they're even burnt up if they are Hawkins substitutes

Have a feeling this will not end well. There are several things atm why i think hawkins might really have upperhands or possibly this zoro and luffy might well be short lived.

Otama , luffy and zoro are still are heavily toxicated with poison atm they need treatment immediately. We dont know what they have consumed atm this could be something dangerous as something related to caesar type of thing he would love to feed the enemy.

So we finally have a sword smither finally and kitetsu is his ancestor it gives me possible certainity zoro will lose to some powerful swordsmen and upgrade to something that will surpass mihawk s own sword.

Drake, Apoo and Hawkins. Sounds like too much force for Luffy to take down to face Kaidou. I wonder about their loyalty to Kaidou. I wonder if the 3 have some hidden agenda and wait for the perfect time to turn on Kaidou.

Oh yea, this is the chapter where "the rat" was supposed to make an introduction.

Unless the rat was Hawkins for switching sides to Kaidou, Or the mystery women Zoro saved, who strangely wasn't seen again after she got saved.

I strongly believe Hawkins is going to betray kaidou. To his left are two kaidou underling looking guys and to his right is his crew mate. I reckon his waiting for them to be knocked out then he'll pitch his grievances and ask for a temporary alliance.

YES! She did a disappearing jutsu lol . Wonder what she stole that she was being chased. Jokes aside, i reckon all these characters we are seeing on the side like otama and her master, the woman who was rescued are some of the samurai/kozuki family symphasisers that Kin'nemon was talking about gathering for the war against Kaidou.

I want Luffy goes one on one against Kaidou, but only through reasonable means. If the DF awakening isn't gonna play part in that, I see the only option left is all allies vs one.
