I'm loving the dynamic of the past few chapters. Both the small details and big plot developments made me remember why I love this series so much. How is it that only a few panels of one chapter made Ym one of the most mysterious characters ever.
i always found it weird. The WG is this massive, powerful organization, but then at the top you have a bunch of tyrannical scrubs that have no redeeming features other than being descendants of people that lived 800 years ago. Then in the previous we see each royal swearing an oath before an empty throne as a sign of equality, while at the same time we see CP0 proclaiming that the CD are above everyone else and can do whatever they want. The Empty Throne symbolism was just a farce an YM fills that power void that I was missing.
I really wonder how many of the CD know about Ym? Using a royal as a figurehead with no power is quite a common thing, but someone who has the power to change the course of the world while intentionally keeping his existence a complete secret, is unusual.
Plot twist Shanks is Im-sama....5/5 chapter who is Im-sama..??? She/He/It has to be related to Mihawk it seems with them crazy eyes
I think only the eyes is not really much to declare that Ym has to be related to Mihawk.
if you look at it once again .. you can see the Shanks sword there and a silhouette that announces the coming of Gorosei
Shanks wields a rather common sword, at least in terms of model. Now if you look in the previous chapter at the weapons in front of the throne, you can see several that are similar to the sword Shanks has. So that we see one impaling the pictures, doesn't really mean much.
I know I was jk.....but like I said in the spoiler thread...Shanks has either some strong bloodline, crazy connections(maybe Im-sama is related to Mihawk), or just OP as all hell OR he ratted out Roger to the World Government
Roger turned himself in, there wasn't anything to rat about.
And the problem with Shanks is that it simply doesn't add up. A part of me has always had certain suspicions about him, but Ym was first shown two chapters ago with Luffy's picture in his hand while visiting a locked-up strawhat. Shanks knows Luffy, he was even the one who gave him his famous strawhat, a hat he himself originally wore. Then in the previous chapter we see Shanks in a different outfit having an audience with the Gorosei, who in a very eloquent way said that he should piss off because he's a stinking pirate, but because he's one of the best stinking pirates, they will listen to him. And in this chapter we the Gorosei bowing down to Ym while Ym is wearing again that ridiculously pompous royal outfit from two chapters ago.
It simply doesn't add up. The only way you can explain this, is if Shanks has a level of schizophrenia that even puts Bruce Banner to shame.
And because people put so much emphasis on the eyes: yes the pupils are quite noteworthy, but the shape of the eye doesn't match that of either Shanks nor Mihawk.
So Luffy, Blackbeard and Shirahoshi are all connected??
It's not that hard to draw connections with them. Both Luffy and BB are D's and Shirahoshi is an ancient weapon. Which connection Ym drew however is open for debate.
That was one holy moly of a chapter! Really loving the reverie!!
- It was nice seeing all of luffy's "allies" getting along all too well. People might be forgetting, but these people arent normal people but kings and princesses ; bodyguards of kingdoms. Luffy indirectly has brought together different kingdoms which if the World Govt found out would take him as more of a threat. Which would be a good correlation with his father, Dragon.
- Mjosard says he will help the Fishman's for the remainder of the conference but the Charloss's dad might not let that happen so easily, considering he has Kuma as a obeying slave.
- This brings to me to my next point. So fkn saddddd that kuma has been reduced to that state!!! I get it , its to make a point but still....hope sabo and the crew rescue successfully for his honour if not anything else.
- Jewelry Bonney. First we see her captured by Akainu and his 'boiled blood upon hearing her escape". Then we see her on a island reading a newspaper. Now shes infiltrated mary jeos. The fact that she infiltrated under the alias of Kuma's potential wife , shed a tear after seeing Kumas state and said 'i didnt believe id run into him this quick' i believe she could be slave at one point but escaped and joined the revolutionaries and Kuma probably helped her out alot when she was pursued by the marines. Idk thats my theory.
- Also i wonder whats in the letter Fujitora gave to King Kobra and King Riku. The only thing they both have in common is that they were both screwed over by the shichibukai system. Perhaps its a request of signature? idk
- Finally, freaken Imu-sama!!!!! So there was a entity above the goresei and celestial dragons huh
Related to Mihawk or Nagato? (Has to be one of these lol.) There was first someone else there reporting to him that the goresei are ready to meet him. They were also wearing a cloak and i 200% don't want that to be shanks please dont do that Oda.
Ps- didn't anything find it extremely trolling that last week we were told no ones ever gonna sit in the empty throne and then boom Imu-sama does it lol. Also what do people on this base think about people besides the goresei, who else knows about Imu?
Kuma's potential mother, not wife.
Notice that the clothes of Im-sama, kinda it suggests is a female.
More thoughts:
- Cut Luffy and Teach’s wanted posters.
- Cut Shirahoshi’s pic (this Im seems to know the ancient weapons well)
- Keeping the Vivi pic uncut which it’s quite bothersome. Why?
- The cut of the papers seemingly clean. Which suggests Im is good sword user
I could imagine that Im and Gorosei been through a lot in the past. Reminds me of “Akatsuki no Yona” where Gorosei been the heroes of their time and tale, accompanying their princess, Im.
The theories could be anything.
Those clothes are neither male nor female. To me it looks like a royal outfit that Oda intentionally made it look as pompous as possible. I mean a slender crown that looks several meters tall? A ridiculously long robe?
