OK????
Edited:
SHIRAHOSHI talk GARP as "LUFFY-SAMA's GRANDFATHER". That's mean she nor KING NAPTUNE clearly goes under Luffy's name and didn't afraid to mention even in the Reverie.
Sabo and 3 of the 4 commanders were already infiltrate the Mariejois.
That's was 4/5 chapters for me.
I was actually hoping for Zoro and others, they were gone in previous arc for far too long. At least 1 sheet should be enough.
I liked the cover story somehow. It shows like Orlumbus is a very organised and neat man. His chambers are filled with souvenirs from the world and maps. His ability allows him to have people follow his command. I like that he has this military man drive but also pretty smart at handling thing and leads by far the biggest part of the SH fleet. I hope we get to see more of him.
Man this chapter had me in stitches with some of the names. Also all the world building, Garp and Sengoku, famous faces and the infiltration of the revolutionaries already is so good.
Last chapter the rev's were still far away and had to meet up with Dragon. Now they're already there with a plan in place. So I'm glad we got to skip a couple of steps.
I like that Stelly got treated like the shit that he is.
Attachan, the bounty photographer who messed up Sanji's mugshot is there with the press alongside Morgans.
Fujitora also made tremendous steps in his plans to abolish the the Shichibukai system. It seems that Akainu was serious to cast out one of his admirals before they bringing him the head of Luffy and Law. We all know that it's also never going to happen, so I wonder what consequences this will have for the rest of the story. He must run into some Navy threshold sooner or later.
Greenbull seems a cool guy, I speculated that he also needed to have the 'New navy' mindset to hold that position as admiral at the end of the series under 'normal' command. Didn't think he would be this relaxed. Ignoring a direct order from Akainu is pretty wild. And to rub salt in the wound he is casually talking with Fujitora. He seems to have a unique trait with his fasting thing. Wonder how that comes into play.
You have the Roshwan kingdom which is obviously Russian, and the king's daughters are the Matryoshka princesses, which are the famous Russion dolls.
You must be registered for see images
King Tacos is obviously a Mexican. But the thing he said is taken from Mexican revolutionary "Emiliano Zapata", who said “Es mejor morir de pie que vivir de rodillas”
But the best one might be Stelly's wife and the queen of the Goa Kingdom. Her name is Nantokanette which translates to "It will work out somehow". And her name is a reference to Marie Antoinette. Get shit on Stelly.
So it's incredible how many references, real history and thought are put into the creation of all the royalty. You can read One Piece as a kid and this goes all over your head and you still have a good story. Or you can have all these double layers where you get the references he makes and you'll have an incredible story.
In other translations King Hamburger is called Han Berger. I like that better since it's not as much on the nose as Hamburger.
- As always love the references for the names of royalty from Oda-senpai. Even though some of them have bizaare looks.
(PS = should've been bollywood instead of bollywood lmao that wouldve been awesome an indian kingdom in onepiece)
- Really liked the fact that the fishman are so familiar and friendly with Garp because of Luffy saving them. I bet Garp is proud
- Sengoku trolling Akainu was one of the best parts of the chapter LMAO
- The fact that everyone was so ecstatic about Shirahoshi is making me abit suspicious. Sorry. Its just that the wording of shirahoshi's wishes to live up on the surface and the Ryugu Kingdom wanting to discuss that at the reverie seems too idk it just feels it wont go according to plan considering from what we've seen from Celestial Dragons.
- ALSO DAMNN, nice and quick moving from the revolutionaries!! Sabo's already infiltrated. I thought he was hiding on one of them crows then was gonna jump off or something but nooo; boom! His already done the deed aha !
Green Bull is so relaxed like Kizaru, perverted almost like Brooke or Franky, and he doesn't seem like he would beat Issho (Purple Tiger) in a fight.
Regardless I know that Sabo infiltrating will lead him directly to Greenbull and we might see a fight between the two.
Mihawk doesn’t really participate in warlord activities like the rest of them. Sengoku even said that he was surprised that Mihawk attended the warlord meeting during the whitebeard fight. And Mihawk himself said that he was there because he was interested in a certain man. So WG isn’t really counting on Mihawk’s strength since he’s barely even working for them
But i rly do hope that the not eating for 3 years has a point to it because if its just another dose of instant hype (hey, look, this guy is so badass he hasnt eaten in 3 years). Instant hype is one of my least favorite things in OP (all manga rly but specifically in OP because i think Oda is much better than that)

You were able to tell from a silhouette of a face that Ryo is unable to beat Fujitora in a fight. Impressive analytic skills, just what we need in this section instead of baseless hyping.
