Speed isn't the issue for someone who can make a giant cake out of 1 cherry.

I think Pound might step in to save Chiffon, because he still needs to play his role somehow this arc. And we also still have Judge and the vinsmoke army docked to the island.

Could be that Chiffon and Sanji will be celebrating father's day with Batman next year.

Luffy attacked Big Mom just for calling him spineless. You really think that Luffy will go along with baking a cake just to satisfy this womans hunger needs? It is more likely that he will try to fight her again and then get ***** slapped again.

I have no idea how they can escape but Sanji baking her a cake just seems like a huge cop out, not to mention it will make the SH's look really pathetic.

I still think Sanji baking bigmom a cake after she has tried to kill him more then once is really fishy... not to mention a big cop out for oda but hey one piece is the most unpredictable manga so it could happen.

It's way too late for it. If Oda was going to go this route, it should have happened a lot earlier. Hell, if Sanji cooking was going to get them out of it, it should have been him and Caesar making candy for Big Mom, since that appeared to be her favorite before she said souls were her favorite food. It'd have resolved the "Sanji might be putting the crew in danger" conflict while fulfilling the "Sanji was aiming to protect the crew" intentions of the character, and it'd play off the dynamic of Sanji hating Caesar on-panel. It'd also tie the "Caesar needs a way out of his employment for Big Mom" conflict the character was in, and it would have turned an ally out of an Emperor, which would have been an interesting route to take for the story AND give Luffy time to be strong enough for Kaido if the latter is dealing with Big Mom first.
