When BM has an eating frenzy, she loses all sense of awareness. We've seen that before, so that she wouldn't notice eating all of her friends, well I find that easy to believe. The lack of blood I don't find an issue either as putting aside it might have been too graphical and too obvious (I can't shake the thought that there might be more to this all than just BM accidentally cannibalizing everyone), she's quite big, so she possibly could swallow whole people.
It's indeed odd though that no one would have gotten away. In particular Caramel as she's a DF user and a veteran underworld figure. You would think she would have the skills to escape from a child that's lost in her appetite for food. On top of that it doesn't seem BM left her position, so you would assume at least some of the kids would have been able to escape.
Yeah there's still something about all of this that I find fishy.
Perhaps Prometheus was actually created by Caramel? If so, he might tell Big Mom.
If that was the case, I think he had plenty of time to tell.
Yes it was, i dont think oda would emphasize "eat as much as you want", "vanished into thin air" and "i even chopped on the table a few times" otherwise
And as BM is simple minded it looks like she still has no clue
What im interested in atm is 1. Whats up with prometheus and the "pandora" and how zeus came to be, and 2. Just how exactly BB stole WBs power, did he consume skme of his DNA? This was a yuuuuuge chapter in that regard
Jumping from this to BB and WB I find at this point still a bit of a stretch. Personally I don't believe there is a (direct) connection. If consuming a bit of DNA would have been enough to gain the power of a DF, I think that would have been discovered a long time ago.
And we already knew how Prometheus and Zeus were made and now we saw it once again with Pandora: infusing a part of your soul with it. At this point I believe Pandora and Prometheus are not the same entities and I think there's little doubt that Caramel ate the exact same DF as BM. Then just remains as to how BM ate that fruit as I find it hard to believe she accidentally bumped into the same DF. So the most logical conclusion is that she somehow absorbed it when she supposedly consumed Caramel, but then of course the question remains as how she couldn't have noticed it. She knows she has DF powers, but if you suddenly get them that means you must have eaten a DF at one point and if it's the same DF as Caramel, well then she should have known her fate. Unless she never knew that Caramel was a DF user in the first place.
