But I do have a feeling, however, that Luffy is going to kick Big Mom's a$$ this arc..

Correct, these are the only two possible outcomes in the entire chaotic universe that the One Piece manga takes place in.

Big Mom has multiple enemies on WCI at the moment.. and Luffy and his comrades are pretty much as deep as you can get inside the island..

A chance like this is hard to come by, and for the story of One Piece to end while Oda is still alive, I say he finds a way for Luffy to beat BM here and now..

The Yonko (and of course the WG) are the main focus of the New World when it comes to fights.. Luffy isn't going to run anymore.. he said this himself..

There's still a high possibility that Big Mom's Yonko status isn't based on her being physically strong or powerful..

Actually, everything we know about her so far suggests the opposite..

That's where I can agree with since BM doesn't look like someone who is capable to fight personally.

Will be interesting but in 1v1 situation despite what I said now I don't see it happening since if it was that easy she would of been rekt ages ago.

I definitely see what you're saying.. especially about if it was that easy, it would've happened along time ago.. and I agree.. but at the same time, you have to admit, based on the circumstances, I highly doubt anyone has had such help getting to WCI like Luffy and co.

I mean, Luffy has been given a great opportunity that I don't think many other characters have been able to receive..


That's my only reason for saying that I think BM needs to be defeated by Luffy during this arc..

Just like other big characters, Big Mom was introduced along time ago, the conflict slowly built up, and now she is the main antagonist of this arc.. she should be defeated this arc.. it would actually be pretty damn pathetic if she doesn't get her a$$ kicked this arc..

Because it's too early for her to be defeated, and we just met her upclose. All she's been doing is sending her commanders after her enemies and trying to look intimidating with Zeus and Prometheus beside her. If she gets defeated by Luffy this arc it would look really stupid since the only reason Luffy would defeat her this arc is because he has to defeat her, and because Oda has no other way for Luffy to defeat her. I mean, it's not like he's stronger than her, since the niquh was struggling with Cracker, you really think it would be reasonable for her, a yonko, to be defeated by someone who was struggling with one of her commanders?

Again, pathetic, and I hope it doesn't happen. In fact, I would like it better if she was killed off panel after this arc because the only way for Luffy to beat BM is with help from everyone else while Luffy is in G4 at full strength.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if that Fat ass Big Mom got defeated this arc. She's like an appetizer to the real problem which is Kaidou.

What I think will happen though is she gets defeated by someone else, while Luffy and company are dealing with Kaidou.

We don't have enough chapters to waste on this fat fuck after this arc. OP is apparently over 70% done, and there are 3 other Yonkou alone to be dealt with.

What Moriah was to the Shichibukai, Big Mom is to the Yonkou, both are the lower ends of their respective groups. Both are fat, and both go around stealing peoples souls (one way or another) and transferring them/ giving life to weird creatures (trees and what not).

Lmao, right? Exactly! I don't know what it is about these types of villains, but I hate enemies like these. Thriller Bark was definitely my least favorite arc because Moria just sucked and was just taking souls and thinking he could take on everyone. It's why I have not been very happy with this current arc. Big Mam just has that Moria vibe to her. I actually liked Dressrosa much more than this arc, and quite ready for it to end already.

A recycled Moriah? The ratio of differences to similarities between Moriah and Big Mom makes this incredibly shortsighted. That's like saying Rob Lucci is a recycled Kuro because they posed as helpful people in towns where a crewmember joined, killed subordinates and enjoyed killing, and have a technique that moves them super fast.

You're comparing her to Moriah in other posts.. Moriah was introduced and defeated all in one arc.. (like many other enemies) at least Big Mom has had build up in conflict for more than one arc..

It seems that most of her "power" relies heavily on her being able to take away the lifespan of someone who is scared of her or cowering.. everything Luffy is the opposite of.. lol

At this point in the story, I think Yonko have some of the strongest characters as their right hand men or "commanders".. aside from Admirals and Shichibukai, the Yonko are the strongest opponents left.. the top fighters of their crew should be strong as well..

Read the rest of the post.. I already explained that it goes more in depth than just being physically stronger.. although being physically stronger will help when Luffy gets his opening to hit her with all he's got.

If you can't understand something as simple as that then Idk what else to tell you buddy..
