Thank you Oda for the Toriko sendoff message on the cover. For those who don't know, both Oda & Mitsutoshi are very good friends and this cover was a homage/sendoff to Toriko.

How? Well...
Little birds = kotori -> toriko, scoreboard reads 'san kyu' -> 'thank you', drawing is for 'm-san' and 's-san' -> mitsutoshi shimabukuro
shima = stripes, and bu = can either mean buta (pig) or bu-bu (oink oink), and it's a play on "Shimabu".

Pretty good chapter. I don't buy Big Mom's promise. Wasn't she the same person who was yelling at Tamago for trying to compromise with Luffy during Fishman Island? Damn, Oda you sure love drawing Nami dont you?

I thought it was like that too but I thought of something....The soldiers were told NOT to kill Luffy even before the deal was struck so I don't think Big Mom was gonna kill the Straw Hats from the beginning since in Fisherman Island she seemed more curious or intrigued than mad...

yep cause we totally didn't learn important new info like big mom's crew don't hold a grudge towards Lola even though she ran away or that Big Mom never was gonna kill Luffy but hey that was waste of time....we didn't need that info

Good chapter overall i think Big mom is tricking Sanji for some odd reason she doesn't seem like the type to let things go. Luffy surely seems like he had unlimited stamina seeing as what he did within the past hours. Not sure how the smoothie DF works but i think it'll be interesting.

Tbh this wasn't a great stamina feat and calling it unlimited is pre mature. Luffy was pretty damn tired and we know top tiers can fight for days on end.

What's up with these bounties >_< before we were like WHOA! Luffy has 500 mil bounty! now...Oda is like..here you get 900+ mil bounty...and another one....and another one!

It was obvious Luffy wouldn't do much and I'm happy Nami took advantage of the storm.I feel like Big Mom is pulling a prank on Sanji....IT'S A TRAP!

After this chapter i wonder if big mom doesnt want to kill the strawhats in her reach, in hopes for to bargain them for robin the sole ohara survivor. I dont think homies can read that language. It was said it took the oharians years of research to be able to read the ancient relics.

For big mom to just use her ability to reveal the ponoglyphs contents seems idk kinda lame. Its smart but lame.

Plus robins whole purpose in this manga is to be the one to lead the strawhats to raftel, her being the only ohara alive suggests that. If others can find out what ponoglyphs read then kinda belittles her existence.
