[Predictions] One Piece Manga Chapter 840 Discussion and 841 Predictions

Sanji's childhood doesn't even come closer to being half as bad as that of Robin, Law and even Nami for that matter. Law had the worst childhood of all, and if we were to consider their entire journey; then Robin's may come on top as she suffered the longest.

Robin and Nami definitely had it worse than Law. Law's really wasn't as bad as you're making it seem, though it was bad and he handled it way worse. He had a family and they were killed, Sanji's family constantly abused and tortured him. Of those two what's worse having loving parents for 9 years and them dying(which by the way is how you become Batman lol) or having your family hate your existence and make it miserable for you constantly for 9 years? Law suffered one event(albeit it tragic) and broke but shortly after found Doffy and his group who helped grow him and Corazon who helped heal him, the others dealt with constant horrible situations with no real support. The only ones who wanted Law dead were those afraid of the disease, everyone wanted Robin dead and Sanji's own family(the only ones he knew or who knew him from what we've seen) wanted him dead at least Law had people on his side after his trauma the others had to live and cope with it on their own for longer.

It comes down to what you view as more sad; having happiness and having it taken away or never being allowed to know happiness.

So Sanji is a mutant? Lost a few points to me with this chapter. Other than that, the chapter was good and the backstory is getting more and more interesting. Wonder about the relationship with Vegapunk, which role it will play later in the manga as well as Reiju's position in the entire thing. It also seems she may actually be the 2nd strongest(behind Ichiji) if not the strongest vinsmoke based on the tests we've seen during this chapter. I wonder who will rescue Sanji and how his mother factor into this

Ichiji is definitely the strongest Vinsmoke. He is also the only brother who Sanji avoids messing with.

Last week I was still thinking Reiju might be hiding some evil in her, but apparently she was nice to him since they were young. So my twist of her being a cruel mastermind is pretty much out of the window.

I realllllly can't wait for the threat on Zeff to be lifted by Big mom. They need such an asskicking.

The stealth technique is pretty cool. Also what is the deal with all the electricity tech's in One Piece lately. Minks use it and now the Vinsmokes too.

Like Caliburn said about the Iron Mask. When I read the title of this chapter I thought wth, is Duval going to be in this ?

Anyway, amazing backstory. Really loving these chapters. Can't get enough of the Sanji development. And this arc has just begun.

Unlike some people in one piece, Gaara caused the piles of dead bodies in their childhood. People where right to hate gaara, he did kill a lot of people.

I know I liked that in all this world of insanity there was still a very human character and he was a strong character. He was Batman of One Piece kind of the way he always sneaks out on his side missions. I don't dislike that he's a mutate(since I don't think it was said he was born mutated but mutated once he was born this would be the word not mutant, unless he was born that way then it is mutant) but I liked him being humanized to a degree now all that's left of that is Usopp and Nami but I do like Usopp and Nami has her moments.

So bloody interesting!
- So vegapunk isn't working "voluntarily" for the world govt he was captured . This changes things, as in whos side he is really is on.

- When i saw sanji kick niji i was like damnnnn then laughed a little. Then he got owned lol. That technique niji used "stealth" germa version of "soru"?

- I had a feeling his sister aint all that bad and will help sanji at one point. In particular whenever there's family dialogue shes quiet just observes. Theres also the fact she saved luffy from poison.

- Also, ichiji man. There's just something about him, always so composed and calm. You know when someone is like that in anime that mofo is strong af. Coincidentally sanji also avoids confrontation with him. Ichiji could potentially be stronger than judge himself.

- Good that we got confirmation of sanji mother. What i understood from this chapter was obviously the vinsmoke kids were born normally through *** but King put something in the semen or something to change their dna for the better. Lol, idk what drugs im on leave me alone XD​

Was it ever said in the manga they were real physical swords or is that something fans have said. It's more likely he still only has 3 swords but the opponent just sees 9. Kenshin was able to do 9 strikes at once and OP is well above their level so why wouldn't Zoro? And I think Riker meant conq haki not armament haki.
