Sanji didn't argue because he felt the same way from the beginning. I'm asking for a scenario where Sanji and Zoro expressed opposite views, and then Sanji changed his mind because of Zoro.
Zoro has absolutely zero ability to do any of those things. He can't decide who joins, who are their allies, what island they go to next, and who they wage war on. The difference between Zoro and Luffy is that if Zoro tried to do those things, the rest of the crew can say no.

But I never did see you touch on the subject of how Zoro made pretty defining decisions on his own without consulting Luffy, the captain, where other Strawhat members have... The example used was when he took hostage King Neptune and all his guards. I think it was Usopp that had a problem with it and Zoro completely dismissed what was said and took command. Unless I missed it Riker, you ignored this point which I feel is another strong defense of the authority Zoro himself thinks he has.
I personally consider Zoro as First Mate, but as you said, they're an unusual crew that bar Luffy doesn't have a defining hierarchy among themselves, but to the One Piece universe and to the readers, I think Oda has shown more than enough times for Zoro to be considered as being First Mate.
For example, if a conversation were to ever be held between a Strawhat crew member and another pirate crew member over who is First Mate, I fairly certain they might sigh but ultimately say it was Zoro... Even Sanji would, being the absolute gent that he is aha

Not how that works either. Kaido being the worlds strongest man and the precise rank he holds in the beast pirates are two completely different things. If none of the beast pirates acknowledged him as captain, he wouldn't be captain. Also he would kill the mutineers.
