I'd guess he was with him before he jumped down to Kid's island since he was up there in the cloud island with Kaidou.
I forgot to mention: awesome color art! When Gear 4th was introduced I mentioned it looked to me like it was inspired by this particular Japanese art style. Still don't know if it has a specific name or not, but this does seems to confirm Oda indeed modeled Gear 4th after it.
I'm not so sure about that. They are in the middle of the sea and Jack's a DF user and I think there is little doubt, based on the panels, that Zanishu one hit KO'd Jack and the latter was already injured. So a severely weakened, possibly unconscious, DF user is in the middle of the sea while all his ships have sunk. Though it's possible that his non-DF user subordinates were able to pull him on a raft, still it really doesn't look good for him.
That was Urogue, not Apoo.
How exactly does the chapter confirm that Momo has Conquers Haki? Why would that have anything to do with the VOAT? Rayleigh has Conquers to but he didn't hear those Sea Kings in the flashback at Fishman Island.
If it's any of the 3 powers it's Observation. But I think it's something more then just that as well.

Pretty boss chapter, funny that two weeks of speculations of the match-ups vs Jack ended with the elephant dealing the final blow.
Oda used pretty big panels to show what happened, that already is an indicator of how badass that was. It was also necessary to deal with Jack quickly because Luffy needs to get off the island to go get Sanji, and he would never leave if Jack was still around.

Color art is amazing, love the typical necks and cross-eyed kin'nemon to make it more authentic. Nami is stealing the spotlight though.

They don't need to keep anything, it's just that if two Yonkou clash, the chances are high it's the end for both of them and the consequences would be tremendous. When one Yonkou moves, the others automatically get dragged along. When WB moved during the War of the Best, both Shanks and Kaidou reacted too. However if you really don't care about the consequences...
The fact that Kaidou has taken over Wano and is searching for the secrets of the Void Century, indicates he is preparing to make a move and if he even has the double amount of rationality as Jack, he really doesn't care that much about this balance. On top of that he proclaimed that he was planning to start the biggest war ever, so Kaidou is pretty much giving that balance the finger and something of the magnitude he is envisioning, well it can easily led to him fighting Big Mum, BB, Shanks and/or the Marines.

That is not true, the WG doesn't want them to fight/join together because that would tip the balance. Also they're pretty evenly matched so even yonkou's would think twice to attack each other because it won't go unpunished. There is no doubt that a yonkou would seize power (esp. BB) if there would be no risk for his own crew.
We already know Shanks visited WB and he was ready to fight. and Kaidou intercepted Shanks during the war.
Good eye. spotted it on my second time reading. Kidd doesn't strike me as someone who would serve under someone. So either that or Apoo betrayed his squad. Will be interesting because it will set up hist role as ally or enemy of the SH's

Expected more from him but losing from Zunisha does make perfect sense. Jack's options were limited for he was at sea and zunisha is herself one badass elephant. Was rightly said that "Vs four emperors" is starting.
VOAT is quite an interesting ability. Possibly like haoshoku but just much more rare. Even allows crazy stuff like sharing visions. Although momo didn't initiate that ability which let him see through Zunisha's eyes, so how did she do it? And she asked from momo not luffy so probably some VOAT kozuki clan user punished her after void century.
And obviously Kid didn't obey Kaido or anyone for that matter. Apoo will one day get destroyed by Kid.

Or Jack = Weakest calamity.
But honestly there would be no point to hyping ancient weapons (If Momo is similar to Shirahoshi), if they didn't have this much power. Power probably above Admirals and Yonkou when they give the right command.
