Are you kidding me ? little progression ?That last panel
Nekomamoushi is definitely strawhat material. And considering they want only one king in zou xD
3 stars as there was very little progression.
I would love to see Shanks reaction with Luffy's bounty/ fleet newsQuestion: whose next for the cover story?
The minks literally gave an arm and a leg to keep it a secret that Raizou was there. There was no point for the Strawhats to know that Raizou is there so why spill the beans 1 day after your island got ransacked by a Yonkou subordinate. It makes no sense what you're saying. Besides they didn't know the samurai were with the Strawhats because they also were lying about their motives. What a waste of chapters tbvh. The conflict of the Duke and Garfield feeling resentment towards the Samurai was so fabricated. I normally don't like saying Oda wasted chapters or whatever, but doesn't strike me that there's any reason they should have waited this long to tell the Strawhats they actually have Raizou. Maybe Oda will reveal why it was a secret in later chapters, but it felt so unnecessary while reading the ending of this. Seems like Oda could have done this reveal way back when the Strawhats first met the Duke/Garfield.
It does make sense to tell them...if they knew the Strawhats were associated with Kinemon and Kanjuro. I had forgotten that the Strawhats hadn't told them they knew Kinemon and Momo, that was my bad. That's what I get for reading these chapters before I fully wake up(Didn't really read much of this, remembered they didn't know SHs were associated with Kinemon like four words in).The minks literally gave an arm and a leg to keep it a secret that Raizou was there. So this is the result when two groups of liars meet. Luffy had no business knowing about Raizou so it would be stupid if Inu or Neko told them about it.
What do you expect ? something along the lines of:
"Thanks for saving us Mugiwara, now let us reveal our biggest secret that led to the destruction of this town as a reward"
That's like telling a Nazi you got jews in your attic after he saved your life. Probably not the best idea. You can be grateful without telling him your secrets.
LOL what? It was an alright chapter, "insanely great" would be chapters like Gear 4th. The "twist" was predictable and wasn't even meant to be a twist, but to show that the Minks have good hearts. The rest was running around and a small squabble we already knew about, which didn't add much to the chapter or the overall story, other than demonstrating that Duke and Meko don't like each other. It was just another set-up chapter, with the redeeming parts being the flashback and ending showing the Minks' dedication, which was cool, but not "insanely great," were we really expecting otherwise? I don't see what's so amazing about it.Any one who says this chapter wasn't insanely great should slap themselves.
This chapter easily the best chapter so far this year, the minks are so loyal and respectful that the whole mink race risked their lives for Raizou, one man!!
The minks deserve a respect thread as they are the most memorable race we will ever have, easily surpassing Dressrosa as far as chemistry with characters go.
9000/9000 chapter
You expected Raizou to be friends with the minks? I actually did not expect that, I figured he was still there but just hidden.LOL what?
