Law got rekt. So its quite apparent now that Luffy and Law aren't in kiados league and It seems that luffy should be atleast (God I can hope) in DD's leauge.

bellamy is gonna die. And he is loyal to the death.

Law's arm 0.0 omg, I never would have guessed that, I though Law has too big of a part to play in the story for something this severe to happen to him this soon (Shanks doesn't count,nhe wont play a part until the end)

Anyway, Law is more or less out and it looks like he didn't do as much damage as most ppl hyped it up last week, now my question is, who will fight Trebol? Sanji's mighty return (and his music playing in my head)? I recently reread Thriller Bark and I'm more and more fond of the Lo.la and BM theory

I think law can reattach his arm no problem. His ope ope fruit will let him do that.

3/5 chapter for me. The first half was great. The interactions and action between Doflamingo and Law has been interesting and entertaining to watch. It seems like this chapter took some inspiration from the anime extension to Law vs Doflamingo on the bridge. I really hope it isn't about to be a 1 vs 1 between Luffy and Doflamingo though; Oda has a chance to do some even better writing here and I hope he doesn't waste it to follow tropes.

The part with Bellamy was kind of disinteresting, never really cared how he met Doffy and didn't care for his flashbacks but oh well. Hopefully he doesn't take up half of the chapter again next week.

Not sure would I like to see half of the chapter with Bellamy but I really like the way he choose.

After re-reading this chapter in Viz, I've grown to understand Bellamy's perspective. He chose to follow Doffy, he chose to be loyal to him. Bellamy has integrity, above all else. Great character development.

I think people have a hard time accepting Bellamy at this current state because they just want to see the fight already.

Still don't understand why Bellamy is regarded as thrash by some fans. I used to hate Bellamy a lot, but since my sympathy is wide and oversensitive, it goes far over his case as well. This is like a tidbits of Gin's admiration on Don Krieg, and tbh i'm not that satisfied with that guy's final resolution so i wish Oda would make a cameo or something about him.

However then, Oda brings up Bellamy. And as the final result, it will be settled once and for all with a fight without being factorised by Doffy anymore, which imo, is the best and manly resolve from Bellamy. If we replace Bellamy with Gin, this would've been Gin vs Sanji instead, in order to stick to his idiotic code of honour.

Luffy's idea on friendship is always questionable and subjective. It can either be due to that person's small deed, something benefit to him or to someone else, and one's resolve or determination. Luffy is very naive in terms of friendship though he's also pretty reckless and quick to judge on present occasion.

Just as in this case, even i can see that Bellamy has changed like Luffy does, and what makes me respect him a little is he readily licks his own spit on Luffy 2 years ago and admit he's wrong. Once he said "I won't laugh at you anymore" i knew it should take a lot of egoism to be thrown out of the window before uttering that, especially a pirate like Bellamy. Since then, i like him a little. Plus his last resolve, is worth to be honored in his way.
