So 16 years ago Law only had three years left to live, could Corazon have used the ope ope ability to heal Law eventually in exchange for his own life. After Corazon died the fruit released from his body and spawned in the nearest fruit and Law ate the ope ope fruit.

i think what he wanted to say was that a potentially good chapter becomes uninteresting if read with bad translations and this "spoils" the fun of the chapter.

So , 16 years ago law says he is gonna die in next 3 years and 2 months and he always seems to be thankful to corazion for something he did to him.

Secondly, DD is annoyed and never wanted law to have Ope Ope fruit.

This fruit also have the ability to take in control of the "national treasure" which can be used to "take over the world" and the fruit grants one more thing, the gift of immortality to someone else at the cost of death to the user.

So, since law is alive, it means either the reports of doctors was wrong or cora saved his life.
The latter seems to be the case.
So I think it is kinda hinting that cora once had the ope ope no mi and he sacrificed his life to make law immortal and he also gifted him the fruit (or he stole it ? ) .

makes sense but that makes law`s haterdt to dd unreasonable that will make him the one responsible of cora`s death not dd

may be cora used it but not directly something like doflamingo made one of his underlings eat the fruit to make use of it and use this eternal live ability when needed , and cora forced that underling to use the ability to save law and because of that doflamingo killed him for wasting the df ability
that will explain why law hates doflamingo but it`s a long shot though

Law was and is still the badass master! And thanks for confirming Oda. His DF F is the best ever!!

Oh damn Corazon. Another cool and badass character. I already like him. How he trys to be cool and then ends up failing, haha. xD

The other things were nice and interesting too, but thb, i didn't give a **** when i had Law and Corazon.

cora is awesome. i love him already. i wasnt expecting him to be clumsy. i bet he cant speak due to seeing dd kill their dad. if cora saved law using this power, then shouldnt law be young? no wonder law can take a beating XD vergo probably got mad at him for eating the ope fruit and beat him up.

But about this chapter... it of course was amazing.
Calling it now; since Oda likes to take inspiration from irl people for some of his characters, betting Corazon was inspired by Joker.

Confused about Maynards personality though... is he a coward, or what? I can't get his angle.

I'm really really starting to like this backstory of the 10ryubito and their 'power'. We knew they had strong social power, but the new concept of blessed physical power is getting very interesting.

But seeing as last arc had a weapon and this arc is super similar to the Alabasta arc Most people with a brain assumed Oda had rode those trains enough.
