It was Law vs DD then we went into a flashback on how Corazon and Law met.

Ohh and in the beginning it was a war between pirates and marines.

Great chapter. We finally got to see Corazon and learned more about Law's DF. Am i the only one eho thinks that Oda was delaying the mess out of Corazon's introduction? It was like when you expect the huge info bar appear and say "Corazon" it didn't.

Im kinda disappointed that Corazon can't talk though :/

I usually only read the *********** version anyways. MP's version made it seem as if Law could possibly be the strongest person in the series with all of the overpowered attacks

Thats what I got from it too.

I caught that Law's Devil fruit was OP, and that it could make you immortal. But then again, Brook's DF made him immortal sooooooooooooo...

i think what he wanted to say was that a potentially good chapter becomes uninteresting if read with bad translations and this "spoils" the fun of the chapter.

Secondly, DD is annoyed and never wanted law to have Ope Ope fruit.

This fruit also have the ability to take in control of the "national treasure" which can be used to "take over the world" and the fruit grants one more thing, the gift of immortality to someone else at the cost of death to the user.

So, since law is alive, it means either the reports of doctors was wrong or cora saved his life.
The latter seems to be the case.
So I think it is kinda hinting that cora once had the ope ope no mi and he sacrificed his life to make law immortal and he also gifted him the fruit (or he stole it ? ) .

So 16 years ago Law only had three years left to live, could Corazon have used the ope ope ability to heal Law eventually in exchange for his own life. After Corazon died the fruit released from his body and spawned in the nearest fruit and Law ate the ope ope fruit.
