robin looked so sexy in the first pic xD
I didn't reaalllly enjoy usopp's part but Curos's backstory was epic, can't wait till next next week.
wait there's a movie coming up..?

5/5
I agree, she does look nice ;)

If we turn Trebol into a rly easy opponent that is still a logia Usopp has his weird ammunition and can use his surroundings to his advantage,he is good at that and so he could find a way to beat him.

But when you think of how strong Trebol is I doubt he will actually beat him, most likely either stall for time or incapacitate him for a bit so the others could get away and rethink the strategy
Usopp may unlock a really basic version of haki, I mean he's determined as hell now. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.

Yeah I forgot to mention that the look in her eyes is quite peculiar, meaning she is going to do something unexpected, however I'm not instantly going into the direction of 'the next Strawhat'. People really should stop doing that with every new character that the Strawhats encounter.
I can't say it's often I cheer on a character to be the next Strawhat member, but Sugar's character intrigue me. It's really just my humble and personal opinion, but I think she'd be perfect as a new member of the crew. She's a female, her abilities are very interesting, her backstory has a lot of potential, and her personality is different from Nami and Robin's. She could easily just turn out to be an ally, yes, but I'm leaning on 'the next Strawhat' at this point.

And yeah... the whole next strawhat thing is a bit too easiler thrown out. Remember, the strawhats already have their additional member: Jinbei. He agreed to become their nakama and crewmember. He is simply taking this time to take care of some business he had to do. In theory we can even argue there will be no more crewmembers for the strawhats.
I honestly don't think Jimbei will join the crew. Anything could happen around the next hundred chapters; he could become a revolutionary, he might die before he gets the chance to join, or the 'business' he's talking about will last longer than expected. We really don't know, but at the end of the day, I don't think he'll join the Strawhats.

EDIT: Now I'm starting to think that Sugar will backstab Trebol while he's fighting Usopp.

Loved Ussop come back and that "Im a sniper of the SH crew" line rarely do u get Ussop saying that(they shld make a huge deal of it when they anime it). Kyros backstory was OK and now I cant wait to see how he fights as a human though I wonder if he wld b any good considering who the enemies are, seeing as he is missing a leg and all.
IN USSOP.......THEY TRUST

My point is not that you specifically, but people as a whole go way too easily towards the 'next Strawhat' thing with every character that's promising. How many new women have appeared in this arc alone? How many of them had interesting abilities? How many of them had different personalities from Nami and Robin? Her backstory is practically non-existant as of now, so nothing much can be said about that either.

Fact is your reasons are pretty much two times nothing and thus there aren't any real arguments as why now Sugar would have more chance of becoming a Strawhat than someone like Violet. It's possible, but that's just because there isn't anything that states it wouldn't be possible. I just find it slightly annoying that many people go so easily to the 'this one is going to be the next Strawhat' thing while there isn't anything substantial that makes those characters different from other.

You can of course wish for it, but that's slightly different than saying you think she is going to join just based, like usual, on nothing substantial. I think it makes the entire discussion of 'who is going to be the next Strawhat?' redundant as in the end it pretty much comes down to guessing and wishful thinking.

If there is something she can do is to let her self be unconscious and eat that candy XD

It was an alright chapter for me; 3/5. Ussop redeemed himself by telling the truth and then fighting back. Kyros' back story was pretty interesting. Also, I may be the only one but I don't really like Jinbei much and don't think that he will join the straw hats. I have a feeling he will die.

OMG DO YOU SEE NOW WHAT I MEAN?! DO YOU SEE?! Usopp's lies returned!! These are the lies that make Usopp such a great character. Up until now he was lost, acting completely out of character. These were not the lies that made him such an amazing character. HEAR THE NAME USOPP, THE NAME THAT MAKES A WEEPING CHILD GO SILENT! His lies were always white lies, mirabolous stories to make people marvel and be happy. And the world was building up to make everything he tells true, both building up to make Usopp a forcefully honest person (As everything he invents happens) and drive the point through that the Grand Line is the place where ANYTHING can happen. This is Usopp's character, the liar with a great heart, trying to find his bravery. If you keep your heart true, even a lie is something wonderful. Up until now, his lies were despicable, taking someone else's accomplishments as his own. He always lied about doing something he didn't, to rise his own fame and appreciation, but he always made up the stories, he had never lied about something that he actually saw happening and took credit. This is the sole reason why I hated Usopp this arc, but I think this shouted revelation made up for it. He still lied, but he lied earnestly.

And great seeing Kyros' backstory. I'm pumped to know more

I feel for Curos...

lyk if u cri evrtim

The return of Sogeking imminent? I hope so!

Starting to think Trebol is a Logia, surely he can't be dead. But a "sticky" logia isn't really a Logia by definition as it is not one of the forces of nature or habitats of the world...

No, no Sogeking, just the manly Usopp.

It's obvious that we're going to have different opinions about this. I personally think Sugar stands out from the other females that have been introduced in this arc, and you, well, you probably don't agree with me. Her ability to turn people into toys is one of the most fascinating abilities so far in the series, or so I think, and it's far more interesting than the ability to turn oneself into any weapon or the ability to read minds.

The 'problem' I have with the other females is that they're too open to romance, with the exception of Rebecca. Viola is too friendly with Sanji, and there are times one may wonder if she has feelings for him or not. This alone sends Viola down under most candidates on my list of 'next Strawhat'. I'm not saying it's impossible that she'll join the crew in the end, but because she's the princess of Dressrosa, I find it more likely that she'll end up staying.

The problem with Baby 5 goes without saying. She would obviously go as far as to marry someone if she's ever under the impression that she's needed. It would get tiring if she'd get emotional every single time a person from the crew asked her for help or ordered her around. And I can't imagine how she would react to Sanji, who'd probably flirt with her every single day. To me, it's these small things that decide whether one become a crew mate or not.

I don't really have anything against Rebecca as a character, but still, there are things about her that bothers me. She holds back while fighting; she's a pacifist, and she doesn't believe in fighting. She can't hold back when she travels around with the Strawhats. Another thing is that she looks exactly like Nami, except her coloring. I don't know about you, but I want each crew member to have unique features and looks. So, no, I just don't see her joining the crew.

So, out of all the females, Sugar is the only one that stands out, or that's what I think at least. It's clearly just my wishful thinking, but that doesn't mean I don't think it will happen. You said that we can't say much about her backstory, but we can actually. Her devil fruit abilities made her age freeze, so who knows how old she really is. For all we know, she could've been born centuries ago. If that is so, we can only imagine how lonely she is if the people around her died one after another. That's why, once again, I think her backstory has lots of potential.
