What Algalon said and also last week's ep. even made you realize that it's a possibility with the dragged out scene with Rebecca explaining the statue. Plus it made sense how he's able to take blows from opponents too.

Usopp has once again proven that he is a wuss, most of the time. He seemed like he was gonna be more brave after the time skip, but he's turned out to be just as much of a coward as before. I'm guessing he will man up soon though, with all that's happened I doubt he could just run at this point.

This chapter got me really pissed at Diamante, Sabo needs to kick his ass good! I can actually see ppl splitting on Rebecca even more,msome saying she's a crybaby, imo this chapter was awesome for her. Usopp's nose though Isnit just me or does Rebecca look better in a T shirt than her armor?

I was pretty sure the Toy Soldier was Kyros, it all added up with him being forgotten and one receiving one wound and all. Seems like Pica is making some ruckus at the top of the hill XD ... The ship at the beginning made me think of mr. 2 ... I want to see him soon, hope he becomes a revolutionary with Iva.

It was great chapter imo, especially for Rebecca and her father. I can see some Rebecca haters being mad though XD

Yh true, it's more attractive to see a women more classy than slutty buuuut...

that armour of hers is awesome yet classy... she looks better in the armour than the t shirt, wayyyy better

Meh, I didn't like Rebecca's moment... It was out of character to see her taking the offensive, even though it was awesome that the blade was dull. She got knocked out way too fast. But what really made me hate it was Sabo's line. I thought Rebecca was the needed warrior woman, that protects others, instead of being the damsel in need of protection... it irked me, like Usopp's cowardice is irking me lately. Something about his lies ever since he arrived at Dressrosa seem out of character, I mean, remember why he used to lie? To make his mother happy, to make kaya happy, to entertain his crew. Sure he was coward, and his lies helped appease that, but he never turned his back on those who needed him, and he never lied about someone else's deeds, ala Lockhart.

I thought from watching the latest episode of the Anime that Captain was Kyros and I found out immediately he is pretty funny to me. Good chapter moving the story along well Usopp needs to grow a pair and start kicking butt I feel like this could be a character defining moment for Usopp.

On another note I almost forgot about Kyros, the statue in the Arena. Considering everyone has collective amnesia about him, I'm going for that it's mr. Toy Soldier. He was originally a gladiator who eventually earned the right to marry the daughter of the King and then became father of Rebecca. Because he was turned into a toy, everyone lost their memories about him or something along those lines.

One thing though. If the One Legged Soldier is the only toy with a memory, because the Sugar forgot to make a contract with the first toy, then why are there other defect toys? Also, why would she forget to make a contract when they arrived on the island? Was the fruit a relatively recent acquisition?

I was thinking about that too, however I reckon that 'saying to people who you are' was not part of the contract. Those contracts seem to be only about working for Doflamingo. As everyone forgot about Mr. Soldier, but he didn't had a contract, it means that the memory things happens automatically when being turned into a toy.

As Mr. Soldier is supposed to be the only not-contracted toy, it means that all those toys probably can be summoned if they need them. You can start asking then as why they let those toys run free and why they did not include something like 'I can't talk to anyone about who I really am' when the contracts were made. The latter might be answered by that there was no need for it as no one remembers them, so whether the toy says it or not wouldn't matter as most people wouldn't believe them either way. It remains strange though as what the point is in letting such a large group of toys run around.

toys don't forgeit their memories. they just can't rebel against Doflamingo if they made the contract. that's why toy soldier can fight against him. however why Sugar forgot the contract is a different story. she may forgot it due to toy soldier being the very first one who was turned into a toy?
