Damn, haki. Sabo seems to be higher on level than Luffy. Then again, I feel like "Oh God, I wish Vergo fights Sabo.". Somehow, I put high expectations on Vergo to be equal to Luffy and\or Sabo. I like the guy.

Sabo is awesome. A while ago someone was complaining about him still having his pipe, but as it stands now Sabo is the only one of the three who didn't ate a DF, hence there was never a reason to drop his pipe.

So 10 captains? Unless I'm forgetting one, there only have been 9 introduced so far. And I don't think you need to think much of the 'giant' thing, it's just a figure of speech, that BB entire army is divided into 10 sections with those 10 at the top. It's no different than what WB did with his crew.

Great chapter this week too.

I think it's too early to judge if Sabo>Luffy or the other way around. I like the fact that he uses haki mainly to fight along with some other techniques and the way Oda is slowly revealing things about him as the plot progresses is excellent.

Am I the only one who thinks that it would be lot easier if Robin used her DF to stuff the tatababasco in Sugar's mouth? I like this whole fairies mischief strategy but seems a bit risky.



Zoro has CoO, great reactions, speed and he can cut things. Of course Pica's fruit is very useful and seems really strong but a man simply with a DF like that without anything else is not enough to give Zoro such a hard time.
I think the most difficult part with Pica is that he is able to manipulate the whole castle making it hard for Luffy to approach DD.

I also considered Robin, however Robin can't duplicate the candy itself, she could only create a series of limbs to pass the candy and place it in the bowl, however doing that without having neither Trebol nor Sugar notice is very unlikely. On top of that the fairies have shown to be extremely fast and almost unnoticeable to even trained fighters, so overall it's a more effective method if Sugar always holds the bowl.

And I think the shackles are just cosmetic to give his character more personality. considering he is a sticky/slimy man, shackles make no difference as they don't work on him.

She was too important for the current plot to let her be turned into a toy.

Hot spices burn the skin and usually have an intense scent and Sugar likes to place the grapes in her fingers before eating them, it's very likely that she will understand that it's not a usual grape.
On the other hand maybe the plan is meant to fail. The strawhats achieving something without causing a ruckus and Usopp leaving without being forced to fight is a very optimistic conclusion.

That makes her entire character quite pointless because as a toy she would be powerless and her father is already a toy. No point in first giving her such a background story and then make her also a toy.

And of course it's very unlikely that their plan will go exactly as they wanted it to, when was the last time that happened?
