I know something like that wouldn't just happen right away nor did I write it would but if the Marines add the WG gather enough power it could happen, the Sichibukai are pirates after all



I'm pretty sure Oda knew that everyone would know after 731, it's not that he is hiding that it's Sabo, he's simply hiding his design until something awesome happens

And they needed those pirates to keep balance. Would be interesting though to see the WG voiding the Shichibukai and having some kind of a reverse coup d'état.

Or he is making a mockery of Tobi/Obito and everything that surrounded his secret identity >.> Doubt that though

doflamingo's expression when fuji said he wants to do away with the warlord system was priceless.

but fuji has agreed to side with Doffy for now, so, Zoro will be the one to fight him?, im not sure if zoro will be able to handle an admiral at the moment.

Well, for some reason I always taught that how Fujitora was being described didn't suit the role of someone who was "subservient" to a pirate. He seemed to be a fair, strict, honest man. That didn't bode well with being an underling for Doflamingo or actually helping him. Now I see why... Now it makes sense! I liked that part a lot!

The rest was build up which oda does very well! I liked it!

I would approve of that, that particular part of Naruto (Obito) is still interfering with my enjoyment of reading Naruto every week, I just can't seem to get as hyped for it as I used to

Well there is a huge gap between the top members and the underlings. Vergo would one shot those guys, and Im sure Diamante and the others could as well. But this just shows you that the Sh's 4th man could possibly be stronger than a lot of other rival crews 4th guy (SN's crews).

And now that its confirmed Fuji is on DD's side, its tough to say who he fights since no one is in his league. I think someone will have to interfere.

I know what you mean. From the moment it was proven that Tobi = Obito, something cracked inside of me. Tobi's identity was one of the most well-guarded secrets and important events in all manga series...and then it was the only person it shouldn't have been.

Hence why I wonder if Oda did this on purpose or something: it's 100% who that is, it's just impossible for him to be anyone else other than Sabo, there is absolutely no real reason whatsoever to keep his face still hidden as we know who he is...and he makes sure it remains covered.

Oda is much better at writting than Kishimoto. Since Obito=Tobi its like Kishimoto ran out of ideas... Suddenly, Obito can use all basic 5 at the same time and even HAshirama's unique techniques when controlled by Zetsu and Madara had the rinnegan but when revived it was removed and then he only got one and what not... Man... Its meh now.

The fact that he keeps his face hidden is just like his way of writting. We all know who it is but its in his control to confirm it and if he had shown the guys face already then it wouldn't be Oda and OP... it would be Naruto or Bleach as it would be predictable. Oda doesn't do things like that. He will show us the guys face but he's doing it as if we don't already know who it is which is what sticks people to the screen

Lets not get ahead of ourselves, I know Oda might be better than Kishi, but there is no "surprise" element to this like you're implying. Oda simply likes to delay these kinds of things, its already confirmed who it is.

One Piece is more about putting the pieces of puzzle together, each piece is unique, and each has it's own value no matter how small it is.
It was a build up chapter for me at the beginning but then suddenly Fujitora came up and said that I am going to destroy the shichibukai system and then I was like, 'daaaaamn', because I didn't see that coming, then he raised his sword against Mingo, and then said that 'blind eye' thing (coming from 'blind man') and then that last page, 'Look at me, Ace'.:bouncy:
I could have given this chapter 3 or something that, but those panels made my day, and made me change my review. Oda rocks!!5/5

I don't think you understood what Scorps said. He was saying that in the extremely unlikely case it wouldn't be Sabo, he has absolutely no clue who it could be as there isn't any other character that fits how that character has been interacting with other characters.

Oda has been implying so hard that it is Sabo, it's practically not possible to be anyone other than Sabo and if then it suddenly appears it's someone else = mind collapse. It's just a hypothetical form of speech, he believes likewise it's Sabo, he's not getting ahead of himself.

The fact that Sabo had a painted scar on his chest just shows how skilled Oda is. He doesn't forget the smallest detail. And, from what I've seen these past few chapters, Oda does really learn from others' mistakes. Kishimoto based the whole manga on the secret behind Tobi's mask, and, in the end, someone would end up disappointed by the reveal, no matter who 'Tobi' really was. Oda probably wants to avoid this, something he easily did.

Why would people be glued to the screen more if they already know who the guy is vs wanting to know who he is?

I loved this chapter, especially hearing about Fujitora's intentions as an admiral. I do agree that the Shichibukai system must be dealt with because it can easily be abused, like how Doffy is using it to his own advantage, however I don't think removing it completely is the best way route to take (considering how they lost Aokiji). On a side note, how are people still unsure whether that lucy is sabo? Sabo's staff looks cool too.
