Interesting history about the King and how Doflamingo took over. Nothing new we couldn't guess by now. Still deserved a 5/5 from me.
If you go back to the chapter when post ts drake was first shown you'll notice that he is on the same island as caribou so him showing up wasn't a surprise and mindblowing showing that these side stories actually link to the main story. whether he's with kaidou isn't confirmed but it's pretty much a very big hint that he is.Boss cover page! Wonder what the hell is going on. Did Drake become Kaido's clean-up guy or what? Anyway he looks like a pretty OP mofo, casually dragging Caribou away... Didn't really care for the chapter itself but it was probably necessary to show what happened.
Assuming they beat him. With someone like Doflamingo, a character which Oda has been building up slowly for hundreds of chapters, I have difficulty to believe they will beat him out of commission like they usually do.not a bad chapter.
dofla guy controlling king shows his epicness.i wonder how mugiwara gonna beat him?
I can't really explain this but I believe Kyros is Gabban (same body build and estimated height). He would most probably be slightly weaker than Rayleigh (Gold>Silver>Copper in price) ; and a good match for Doflamingo. I believe that if Kyros is Gabban then the only wound he ever got would be a critical hit from Roger or Rayleigh.Assuming they beat him. The plan was originally not to beat Doflamigo, but just to break his relationship with or the Marines or Kaidou and let them deal with him afterwards. Though I can't imagine either that it will end badly for the Riku family, so I'm just going for the option that the Strawhats don't achieve not a (complete) victory by fighting, but that they somehow succeed in making the people of Dressrosa realize the truth behind what happened 10 years ago. Even if Doflamingo is not beaten by strength, what's is he supposed to do if his entire country is going to riot against him? As cruel as he is, he could easily suppress them, however then the gig he has been holding up for the past decade is up.
On another note I almost forgot about Kyros, the statue in the Arena. Considering everyone has collective amnesia about him, I'm going for that it's mr. Toy Soldier. He was originally a gladiator who eventually earned the right to marry the daughter of the King and then became father of Rebecca. Because he was turned into a toy, everyone lost their memories about him or something along those lines.
That seems quite random xdI can't really explain this but I believe Kyros is Gabban (same body build and estimated height). His disappearance could be explained as joining the crew which defeated him. Roger pirates seemed to show at places of importance to them.
e.g Crocus at reverse mountain (entering the grand line)
Rayleigh at Sabaody (entering FI and then the New world)
Gabban at Dressrosa (or nearby) ; perhaps because it's his old home or something like that?
Because he will most likely be a good match for Doflamingo ; saving Luffy and the others. That would be interesting.
Just one of my bizarre theories which lack any evidence xD
It was just something I randomly came up with. I just really want to see Gabban I guess. Gabban is shown to be very tall (taller than Rayleigh and Roger). Like the Admirals and Doffy. That seems quite random xd
The only thing we know about Kyros is from a statue, more precise only half a statue of his upper body and it's not even certain that the real person and the statue based on him are similar. So how do you know that they have the same hight?
And considering he was supposed to have been a gladiator only 20 years ago and was the greatest gladiator of the Colosseum, how is it that no one remembers him? Unless he was changed into a toy, which seemingly causes collective amnesia.
