The first and clearest response would be, he won't mix the both because this is not Fairy Tail. That's where people start sucking more elements and combine them.

And second, why he won't ever have poisonous attacks, it's because he hates people who fight with poison, it's too coward and his style is not to go about weakening his opponents with nothing more that head on beating. Poison is associated with the bad guys. Even Usopp doesn't have a poisonous attack, rather a sleeping gas or bad smell.

First of all, I don't really mean mixing and combining as in that of Fairy Tail. Luffy's body will always be made out of rubber, but now if he eats the fruit it will also always be made out of fire. Now, since its always made out of both rubber and fire, those have to affect the other in some way. I doubt nothing special will happen to the body if it's made out of them both.

But I do agree with your second paragraph, about Luffy's fighting that is. Though it doesn't necessarily mean he will fight with poison, at least not intentionally. The poison might also only be produced from his body when he's using Gear Second, as a replacement for the steam.

But as I said earlier, I don't want Luffy to eat the fruit, nor do I think he will.

I just thought of something, and it sort of makes sense, or at least in some way. If Luffy, in the end of the arc, eats the Mera Mera fruit and gain the fire abilities, it will probably affect the rubber body in a way or another. It will most likely be a mix of those two, rubber and fire that is.

So here is what suddenly popped up in my mind... rubber that is set on fire would release a toxic gas, a deadly one at that. Even if this poisonous gas is made from Luffy's body, a normal rubberman with fire abilities would still be affected by it and any kind of poison. But Luffy is now immune to poison after his fight with Magellan. Maybe this was foreshadowing from Oda that he'll eat the fruit after all?

Now, this is just wild guessing with no proof whatsoever. In my opinion, I don't really want Luffy to eat the fruit and gain the fire powers. From the bottom of my heart, I want him to stay as the normal rubberman he has been from the beginning of the series.

That's really smart. Because Luffy's Armament Hardening happens on rubber body the best and appropriate way to do so is through vulanization which is what Luffys body appears to do when he use it(why his body goes black) and secondly, because of the so called "vulcanization" when he use Gear Second which heats up the body to the point of there coming steam from his body the natural and predictable thing happens which is "eruption" in this case fire which would be the science behind the Red Hawk.

So if Luffy would in the future use Gear Second and combines it with a Full-body Armament Haki he would be able to make fire all over his body, he would go "Ace Mode" so to speak and because of that wouldn't need to have his brothers df so yeah. If rubber on fire can produce poison, Luffy will be able to do that in the future, that poison if doesn't kill would atleast help weaken stronger enemies who would die if they stay for too long, sure they'll be exceptions though.

That's what I just said, that his body is abnormal due to his DF and that in itself is not normal compared to other people in the same situation. Normally you change into your element, which didn't happen with him, thus making his body abnormal. That's what I said originally, I even tried to make it clear that I'm not saying he already had a weird body.

Oh man xd so....much....freakin....content in one chapter....and that ending threw me off actually.

Buggy is now a officially a shichibuaki no surprise, since it was already hinted when Buggy receive that letter from HQ. Now we know Doflamingo full title Heavenly Yaksha(Sky Demon) Doflamingo, I guess that Doflamingo can fly in the sky with his string ability. Now we know where Law crew is in Zou and that whole scene with Law acting like a straw hat was funny lol. The new marine HQ looks beast so huge and we see a small glance of Akainu. Wounder who this Fujitora person is? Doflamingo having Ace devil fruit was a mind blown for me lol, I did not see that coming at all. If any of the straw hats does get Ace's devil fruit probably Luffy so he can stand chance against Black beard or maybe Sanji.

By body they mean something about blackbeards dna is abnormal which allows his body to store two df's.
His df isn' the reason for his body, he had that shape before he ate the yami yami no mi.

Because Marco said during the war that BB's body was 'atypical'. He never explained what he meant by that and readers started interpreting it differently. One interpretation is that his body was already abnormal, another is that it comes from the DF and I'm more inclined to believe the latter.

but i think he got red hawk where the steam(Heat) from gear second contacts the arment causing so much heat that it burst to flames. like i said again.... if he get ace powers... his character goes down.. but to be honest.... I think cobi is going to get the fruit... I just have a strong feeling that cobi is going to play a bigger role then what meets the eye...

It doesn't matter what the ability is, it just matters that he already ate a DF. Unless Luffy would be the mother of all exceptions, if the ability really mattered, there should be countless of other DF users who could and should have eaten multiple DF. Also it was stated in the manga that scientific research was conducted after it and that people who ate two DF die. BB is the exception, there is no record of anyone else doing it.

He just got back from a timeskip. You haven't even seen all he can do yet. We need to see the Strawhats go all-out before we can judge. Besides the series got 10 years left so relax, he don't need to be the strongest right now.
