I agree, though it isn't really confirmed that she is dead yet. She would really just be a waste of character, in my opinion, if she was to die now, just about 40 chapters after she was introduced. I honestly still believe she will survive somehow, either being rescued or surviving at own hands.

I say it's 50/50 for Monet survival, until we conformation.

Then keep waiting because Oda is not Hiro, this is not Fairy tail so i believe when something happens that is what happened. Ceasar was wondering why Smoker was still alive so if he is alive someone must be dead.

Oda is still not the type who develops his plot in such a way. Most of his characters survive in some kind of way, except the ones that is critical for the story to continue, like Whitebeard or Ace. Of course, there has been some deaths here and there, but a character with such a potential like Monet haven't died yet, if my memory serves me right.

As i said, Oda is not Hiro, if he brings back Monet and it turns out she is alive after getting her heart stabbed then that is trolling and Oda is not a mangaka who trolls.

But no animal aside from Bepo and Pekoms apparently have Choppers level of intelligence for an animal and that's only if they actually are animals and not former humans. Chopper had memory of his life as a reindeer, it doesnt mean he was anymore intelligent then other animals before he ate the devil fruit.

I also think Wano Country will be next, it has been forshadowed with the Samurai who fought Zoro in the Thriller Bark and he once slayed a dragon. They will probably not get further involved with Doflamingo untill later arcs.

Yeah.. Sanji's comment about the Kinemon's words ( 'let us live') also suggest that there is more to their (Kinemon and his son) story.

True. They were posted and developed, their backgrounds explained. Wouldn't do much good if they weren't "used" in the plot. Still, I don't see Kinemon as a strawhat but i do see Momonosuke as one. For some reason...dunno...its this gut feeling.

Yeah, I know. Oda used him in his one-shot manga 'Wanted', which had actually nothing to do with OP, where he slew a dragon. Then in the OP manga on Thriller Bark he brought him back as a zombie, letting him fight Zoro while originally the two characters resembled each other a lot.

I only read two chapters of that manga in which Garp was originally the one who gave Luffy his hat and Luffy didn't have a scar(dont remember if his name was luffy but whatever). It was only later that i searched the wiki and found Ryumas biography with this picture.
