The incident was initially mentioned in chapter 1054. Back then I thought it was referring to the first time Charlos tried to kidnap Shirahoshi, but now we know it was his second attempt. And considering Akainu mentioned it in relation to the Holy Knights, I think this incident is meant to function as an introduction.
Due to the past few chapters I've started to think that the initial 20 monarchs were manipulated from the start by Im and that the CD function as a smokescreen from which only the ones whith actual capabilities are recruited for the Holy Knights. Additionally, that the reason why Lili refused, was because she realized that (either because she found out or because Im revealed it to her for whatever reason). Though, I doubt she was that crucial of a factor in the aftermath regarding the Poneglyph. The fact that she was one of the 20 founding members and she has been remembered as such, means she was on the side of the WG faction until very late in the game. It's hard to believe such a person then would have played such a pivotal role for the opposing party.
I believe she was lyk Vivi 800yrs ago. Prolly travelled with Joyboy, spent time with him, returned back to her Kingdom n later joined World nobles at Mariejois. Yes she found out that the whole vowing towards empty throne is BS. Im is a dictator who can snap anytime when someone speaks ill abt him.
WG knew full potential of Pluton which means they have used it. I believe it was used against ancient kingdom, Lunarians n other combatants. This might have triggered Lily to steal Pluton from Im n hid it in Wano.
Regarding the Holy knights. It's interesting. Oda is trying to make Celestial Dragons as real threat as few yrs back many pointed that CDs don't at all look lyk a threat especially the helmet ones. And we learnt that 20kingdoms defeated one of the most advanced Kingdom, Lunarians, cursed immortality just in a span of 100yrs n less.
I don't believe that knights holds all the power. To me they are lyk proper diplomats. Some of them could fight (no doubt abt that) but story wise I doubt they are stronger then Admirals.
There isn't a particular known connection between Skypiea and FI, yet it's the Poneglyph of Skypiea which explains everything about Poseidon. So, that indicates there doesn't have to be any connection between Wano/Pluton and Alabasta. I also find it hard to believe that Lili is going to explain a secret language to the Kozuki's, which they themselves then forget.
Gorosei n Im removed Void century from existence. Nobody knew what happened lyk they used one of those Men In Black devices called Neuralizer on whole world.
Lily most prolly taught the next gen of Kozukis abt Poneglyph n asked them to keep it a secret among them. This explains how she vanished.
That might also explain the location of Pluton Poneglyph in Alabasta as it's most prolly hidden post war n the Poneglyph was later transported there by envoys who had the letter Lily sent to Nefertari family.
I might be misremembering things, but I remember Toki once saying she was from Wano, but never had actually been there, and that she gave off the impression her reasons for going there were purely sentimental.
She was born in sea n wanted to go to Wano. She wasn't a Wano citizen from the beginning.

Her parents were from Wano. Yes. I might be overthinking but it makes no sense for her to time jump from 800yrs ago just to see how modern Wano looks lyk.
