And yeah, I love how poor Kizaru wasn't even mentioned in this chapter xd
It doesn't mean necessarily it comes from the sky. The link between water and Poseidon is obvious, however Pluton is a battleship. Pluton comes from Pluto, which was the Roman god of the underworld. There is no link between them unless you say the ship comes from the underworld or that it blasts you to the underworld. However considering it was manmade that would just be talk to make the ship more intimidating. So there doesn't really need to be a link with the sky.
Uranos is also the "father" of all the Greek gods, the Titans, the Olympians etc. and in most cases the best is always saved for last, so normally that would mean Uranos is the most fearsome of all 3 weapons. Maybe it's the "thing" that produces all the Devil Fruits.
I just remembered that Gol D Roger knew the location of one of the weapons. It would be unlikely that it was Pluton as that location is hidden in Alabasta and only the royal family knew about it. We know he knew about Poseidon, but at the time Shirahoshi wasn't born yet, so even if he exactly knew what it was and where it would be, it would be useless. So he might have known the location of Uranos too.
Why would they need to be stronger than the Mera Mera? Whether he could absorb it or not doesn't matter either as apparently he has to kill his target first before he can extract the power. He needed Ace alive and even in the case he could extract from living targets, it would be quite suspicious when he knocks on the door of the marines with Ace not having his logia fruit powers anymore. On top of that it was the first time he tried that stunt when he took WB's Quake fruit, his crew wasn't even sure whether it would work or not. So BB would have never taken Ace's fruit
Well it's no surprise if Zoro and Sanji got Haki as everyone has got it and the stronger you become, the stronger your Haki will be. When Luffy hit BB in ID, BB said Luffy's Haki got improved and Luffy never trained specifically his Haki back then, it just grew natural with him, which is also the case with Sanji and Zoro. Though in there case it's now more of an instinct.

I had a feeling that there was more than two Ancient Weapons and now we know the third one. I wonder if Roger knew the location of all three ancient weapons.
I thought that Caribou ran with the treasure but it turns out he's still within the castle...what a creepy bastard. His tongue and eyes never fails to creep me out. With him hearing all this secret knowledge, I wonder what the future has in store for the mermaid princess. UUgh...I just want him to die already!!
The fight between Akainu and Aokiji surprised me. I knew at once that Akainu would win with the advantage he has with his devil fruit power but with the battle lasting 10 days, it was without a doubt, an epic battle! I hope that the Anime shows the battle to us like what they did when Ace and Blackbeard fought. With Akainu as the new fleet admiral, I despise him even more now. xd I wonder if Aokiji will help out the Straw Hats since he's no longer a part of the Marines and since he's got the duty of looking over Robin. I wonder how the WG increased the battle strength of the marines...new weapons? devil fruits for every high ranked officer in the different bases?
Blackbeard becoming one of the Yonkou isn't a surprise to me but what happened to Marco and the rest of the Whitebeard Pirates? With them hunting down strong devil fruits and with Blackbeard able to absord them, wouldn't he be too overpowered with so many powers at his storage? or is he thinking of passing on the powers to his crewmates?

We now know two members of Big Mam's crew. Mr. Bokoms and Baron Tamago. I wonder if the crew will have confront them? I can't wait till next chapter!!

i slap my self for doubting Oda. Aokiji and Akaniu fight must have been epic no lie wish we cud have seen it. No surprise that BB is a yonkou though just making luffy beating him all the sweeter i wonder in the final war that will engulf the world if all the ancient weapons will be active. I wish jinbei would touch up on the 7 warlords i mean i thought akaniu wud object to them since he is fleet admiral now but it seems kong and the goursei have other things in mind.

Zorro and Sanji getting Haki shouldn't be surprising. If Luffy is the only one to take on logia in their crew, how are they supposed to survive.
Personally, I hope Aokiji joins straw hats, they need a bigger and stronger crew. Some one made a good point about Jinbei not joining because he had a higher bounty than Luffy. With Aokiji, Luffy will probably have to beat him if he is to join.?

Really good chapter. I hate Akainu/Sakazuki but I think it is a good thing he is the Fleet Admiral it just makes the Marines even more the Straw Hat's enemies. & you know that 1 day Luffy & Sakazuki are going to have an epic battle.
& seeing what happened to Hodi & his crew was a good thing now we won't have to worry about them ever again. & I am interested to see what happens with Caribou i just pray he don't join the Straw Hat's.

this was really a great chapter... i thought even tho Oda created more ???'s than answers, the info we did get was snuff to satisfy our appetites...
i dnt think that Aokiji would join the SHC but i wouldn't mind see in him with the Revs.... maybe as a replacement for Kuma...
i hope that this is the first indications of Zoro n Sanji developing their haki.... i really want ussop n brook get it as well, especially ussop cuz i think that would make his sniping ridiculous...

I was surprised nicely.I was happy when i heard about the ten days fight but sad when aokiji lost. Hate Akainu even more. Is there anyone on this forum who like Suzuki(akainu)?
