Meaning to say "The Will of D" started with him? The idea is good basing to the fact that he had to do something in regards to the promise with mermaid princess (POSIDEON).

It would be good as to know why did he have to break his promise with the Queen. It is not fitting well with the fact that he failed in accomplishing his task. I though, do not want to judge him on it alone. We have to know his powers to understand this much better(answers probably are waiting in the new world) if he had the WILL like all the D's. Yesterday I just remembered something. When I was thinking why Madame Shirley <3 wasn't at the feast, I suddenly remembered the prophecy she made. It still hasn't come true ._. and no I doubt it something like "Luffy is so extraordinary even faith itself has no control over him". If that was the case that entire prophecy part of the arc was completely useless as it served no purpose whatsoever. Till now the only thing it did was making the fishmen distrust the Strawhat Pirates, however for that the suspicion they might have kidnapped those mermaids would have sufficed. Conclusion: the prophecy has still not occured.

I doubt that. The "D" is found all over the world in many different races. I would find it weird if it originated from one human from the Void Century. Especially considering all the "D" have similar personality traits and are by default completely messed up. I was always under the impression the will of "D" is something that originated from a group of people, after all it was a kingdom or at least a specific group that disappeared during the Void Century according to professor Clover. He might have been a D, but I don't think he was the only one.

It's save to assume that the will of "D" does not mean the will of Poseidon. It has a certain relation with Poseidon, but the will means much much more, it's too large to be just for Poseidon. The will is tied to all the persons who have the initial D, to the Void Century and to all the poneglyphs to the point everyone who knows about it has to be obliterated by the WG. This also includes Pluton, which is also a monstrous weapon, and who knows what else. Poseidon is only a part of it. So no it does not mean Poseidon.

Meaning to say "The Will of D" started with him? The idea is good basing to the fact that he had to do something in regards to the promise with mermaid princess (POSIDEON).

It would be good as to know why did he have to break his promise with the Queen. It is not fitting well with the fact that he failed in accomplishing his task. I though, do not want to judge him on it alone. We have to know his powers to understand this much better(answers probably are waiting in the new world) if he had the WILL like all the D's. The funny part is that I do not see his name fitting to carry "D" in it?? Joy D. Boy??? Sounded funny!!!!!

Lol? Joy Boy is obvioulsy a nickname, not a name. Luffy is called Monkey D Luffy, not Straw D Hat.

Yesterday I just remembered something. When I was thinking why Madame Shirley <3 wasn't at the feast, I suddenly remembered the prophecy she made. It still hasn't come true ._. and no I doubt it something like "Luffy is so extraordinary even faith itself has no control over him". If that was the case that entire prophecy part of the arc was completely useless as it served no purpose whatsoever. Till now the only thing it did was making the fishmen distrust the Strawhat Pirates, however for that the suspicion they might have kidnapped those mermaids would have sufficed. Conclusion: the prophecy has still not occured.



I doubt that. The "D" is found all over the world in many different races. I would find it weird if it originated from one human from the Void Century. Especially considering all the "D" have similar personality traits and are by default completely messed up. I was always under the impression the will of "D" is something that originated from a group of people, after all it was a kingdom or at least a specific group that disappeared during the Void Century according to professor Clover. He might have been a D, but I don't think he was the only one.



It's save to assume that the will of "D" does not mean the will of Poseidon. It has a certain relation with Poseidon, but the will means much much more, it's too large to be just for Poseidon. The will is tied to all the persons who have the initial D, to the Void Century and to all the poneglyphs to the point everyone who knows about it has to be obliterated by the WG. This also includes Pluton, which is also a monstrous weapon, and who knows what else. Poseidon is only a part of it. So no it does not mean Poseidon.

Yes of course! I knew something was missing. But if that's so, then what is still yet to happen? Do you think it is related to what Jinbei has to do? Or Caribou? He seems a very unimportant character, so I wonder...

Either way, maybe he was THE D carrier, like Gol D Roger is THE D carrier of his time and Luffy is THE D carrier of this time. In fact, what if being the Pirate King as a different meaning? Maybe (Almost certain) Gol D Roger's purpose was not to become the Pirate King, but to follow the steps of Joy Boy (The original D carrier, not that he was the only one with a D, just the more important), and then, with his achievement, the term Pirate King was forged. Luffy is following Roger for different reasons and bearing the Pirate King tittle in mind, but he will soon find out Roger's true motives and shift his gold.
