Yes, If jınbei joins nothing much will change about the age thing brook is still the oldest with the age of 90 jinbei is not near him xd
Nice chapter!!! New Nakama -"Jinbe". Didn't expect that coming, but when I review the role he played in supporting luffy, Yes, he is worth of becoming a crewman.
It gave me chills seeing Jinbe donating blood to luffy in the center of plaza. Rules are meant to be broken. And there goes another!!!

I also wanted to add this, the probability of shirahoshi shrinking seems to have gone up. We now know that Caribou stole the treasury from Ryuga Palace which also means that he may be in hold of Tamatebako (shrinking apparatus) which might be among them. I think Caribou will play a part in the next few chapter as to retrieve the treasure and also a possibility of using the apparatus.

As of the new power of Luffy (voice of all things), I feel now that its different to HAKI. The sea kings seem to find it hard to believe that any human, other than Roger, exist to have this ability. And we know there are quite a few people around to have the power of Haki, which doesn't make it a rarity. This statement, in my opinion, makes the powers (Voice of all things & Haki) two very different.

OMFG Oda is a god this is such a amazing chp and i dont think jinbei can say no i feel like they grown bonds and i feel like hes gonna say yes for three reasons 1 because of ace two becasue how amazing luffy is and his crew and three because luffy and the straw hats have just bonded two races together for the first time even more then what whitebeard did good job oda you continue to make naruto look bad ONE PIECE =NUMBER 1

I don't think it's weird for Jinbei to join. Why ? read my reaction in the will Jinbei accept the offer thread.
I think this arc is still not over yet. I'm pretty sure there will be some unresolved business left. It appears that Caribou will become a buggy like returning enemy or maybe makes an robin enterance back on the ship for a ride to the surface. One treasure was "named" so I guess we will be hearing from that some more. Google says that treasure (according to Japanese myhts) has some powers which can alter your age. (Bonney anyone ?) It was discovered by someone who went to the bottom of the ocean on the back of a turtle.

Question - Do you guys think Luffy will gain any possible abilities or disadvantages from gaining Fishman Blood? Its never been done before, so we don't really have any way of knowing.
I would initially have guess that Fishman blood gets him to override the DF weakness, but after seeing Decken, we know that that doesn't matter. However the circumstances are different. Gaining the blood after having the DF versus already having it and then eating it. Perhaps SeaStone will not affect him as much as it normally would, rendering attacks like Smoker's irrelevant. Maybe gain Fishman like abilities.
Or maybe the effects of it will become even worse than normal. He could sink even faster. Just being around Seastone would make him feel Natsu (Fairy Tail reference) sick (Seasickness instead of Motion sickness).....

He should join them. He wouldn't be too useful though but it wouldn't hurt to have a Starfish on board.
