As for this chapter, it was great. Good to see the straw hats are basically joking around with these enemies, it really show's their improvements in strength. Zoro has clearly advanced a lot further then I once thought, the person he was fighting was actually able to poison luffy (although it wasn't very effective) and Zoro is handling him like he's not worth his time.

Usopp...was missed in this chapter, brook's fight seems to be awesome.

Did anyone notice how badass robin looked with the glasses?!! Just like a "deal with it" face. Also "Tenryuubito games", new fishman pirates are turning into what they hated...and they know it for sure.

How stupid can the minister of the right be, seriously, he should have asked the civilians first before ordering his ranks to attack the strawhats.

Fishman island is getting evacuated, and also did anyone noticed what neptune say... "just as it was written"...like if the destruction of fishman island by noah was meant to be. DON'T FORGET SHIRLEY'S PREDICTION!!! My god why is this such a good stepping stone chapter!!!

in all a good chapter but i do wish Oda would cut the Noah's arc crap out, i meen why do we need to read about this falling boat for 4 chapters straight its stupid mayn.
Also instead of making a brand new thread on page 20 when zoro uses that sword barrier it looks like their is a sort of dome shape around his swords, anyone reckon he's using haki? i meen it would not be surprising since he is luffy's right hand man, and seconde strongest in the straw hat crew

I I like all the new fighting styles Brook finally doing some fencing again and Zeo fighting with Vivi like weapons.

Finally Chopper's Heavy point I was really waiting for this one. He looks a bit like nightmare luffy with that body. I think of all the strawhats that Chopper changed the most. He is so confident now.

Nico Robin with the sunglasses look so killer. Hammond should run with his little slave car.

I was thinking Sanji was going to try and blow him up but the bouncing of the arc is a nice idea too. But Wadatsumi has to grow a lot bigger since the arc is half the size of the island.

kekkai is being translated as barrier here but it can also be translated as limit (kekkai genkai = bloodline limit) or as reach like the translation of mangareader. And since there were stars/sparks on hyozo's swords after Zoro's attack I just think it was a normal attack. So no barriers or haki. Just a badass attack which cuts swords vertical.

Can someone check on Lili ? I'm afraid she hurt herself when she slipped of her wet chair after seeing that last page.

You're all thinking too much. Barrier was a very bad choice of words. Mangareader just translates it as "reach". What it all means is just that Hyouzou was in Zoro's reach, nothing else. He didn't made some kind of invisible wall or something. It's a hypothetical space.

If you grab a sword and you stretch your arm every place where you can move your sword around you is the "space", the "barrier" of the swordsman, with other words everything there is within reach. The stronger the swordsman is, the stronger that barrier will be protected. But in the end it's not a special skill or something. Hyouzou tried to "invade" Zoro's territory and got owned completely.

It's basics in kendo. Every person has a circular territory around him and when two territories collide, the two fighters battle each other to "conquer" the opponent's territory.
