Hodi and Luffy bouth against Vander **** Man, it doesnt sound chalanging at all. The guy is ugly and totaly useless his ability would work only in NBA, throwing things....

I think there's something about Vander Decken that we still don't know. He may not be as weak as we all think.

I think there is something on that gigantic ship how else is this going to be a fight for the strawhats. There has to be a plottwist coming next week. And I think there is more to his throwing ability. Look how inventive Oda has been with a rubberman 0.o

maybe maybe maybe a small chance of Poseidon on that ship?? It has a fitting name, Neptune was shocked when he found out. And these legendary weapons just pop up once in a while in the story line and it has been a while.

If i remember correctly there are 3 forms of haki, being able to predict movements, being able to become shielded (raleigh blocking the elephant and then attacking luffy) and finally king haki. Luffy is in fact using the second form of haki to block (its not a shield raleigh uses but rather reinforce's his palm to block the elephant). So basically its prediction, armament, and intimidation are the 3 forms of Haki with intimidation being the rarest. The prediction also lets those who mastered it know where and who is nearby (as raleigh demonstrated by knowing where all the animals are on the island). So in fact Luffy is using armament haki to its best effect, shield and weapon.
Good chapter, expect Hodi to get downed already and not keep the fight going.
