No matter how powerful someone might be, when Luffy sets his eye on beating someone up he will defenetly do so, there was no case where he was beat up and retreated from the fight.

The only ones who beat him up are the once who are after him and he running from them.
So practically if Luffy decides to fight an Admiral No matter how much difficulty he will get, he will end up beating them up.

And his Crew will beat up the leaders surboninates, no matter how strong they are, so powerlevel are only measured when they Run instead of fighting.

As for Fujitora case, *********** translation makes it look like he will not go after the Strawhats and Law, I don't understand why?

Well assuming they are handicapped/weakened then yes. Take the Doflamingo fight for example, Doflamingo suffered serious injuries from Law before taking on Luffy's gear 4th.

Personally, I don't see Fujitora going after them. Wasn't he apologizing to Riku last week? I don't know, attacking the saviors of the island would be disrespectful towards Riku and the citizens. It'd give the Marines even more of a bad rep., unless that's his intentions then I can see it happening.

What do u mean?
Luffy ran from Smoker often in the past
Luffy ran from Kizaru and Kuma
Luffy told his crew to run from Aokiji bcs he would fodderize them so he went and fought alone ... and ..lost
Luffy does not fight admirals because he would lose at this point. he and his crew has probably sufficient strength to hold one of and escape tho

Luffy has never lost against someone who he decided he was going to beat yet but that's why Oda always makes the villians fight Luffy when he is ready for them. If he fought Doflamingo pre timeskip he and his crew would've gotten slaughtered. In the same way Luffy will fight Kaido, Blackbeard and Akainu and kick their asses when Oda thinks it's time and when it does happen Luffy will be ready, trust me.

Luffy fights enemies times by times when he is able to beat one, for example no matter how firm would have Luffy been to beat doflamingo he couldnt have beaten him if this was pre-skip Luffy, villains are put there at the right moment and at the right time, what you are saying barely makes sense at all, its a shonen cliche, the main character beats the main saga/arc villain, this is not just Luffy's ability its almost any shonen main protagonists ability, pretty much.

Didn't Kuma beat all of them and almost killed zoro and left. Yes luffy wins his fights because he only fights when he knows beat can win or when he has too like what happened the second time they meet kuma and got seperated or how luffy went to mf knowing full that he had no chance against the admirals. Luffy wins alot but he has also lost alot, saying he would beat an admiral at this point for the plot is ridiculous.

I love a passage from Rafael Sabatini in Captain Blood where he tries to run away from that its coincidence that makes a hero but he utterly shows it is. To be victorious u gotta have luck on your side and fighting the right enemy/battle at the right time is essential n reaching the final stage(if u r a gamer u know this). If Kaguya had shown up 200 chapters earlier there wldn't have been a 7th kage as in bleach had ichigo fought Ulquiora b4 Grimmjaw and that other privaron espada he wld have been smacked or goku fighting cell b4 frieza or vegeta. All shonen heroes and many prontagonist use experience gained from past confrontations to win the next thats why its called a story as in it starts somewhere and follows some path to some destination the author has thought up.

Levels exist as we know there are certain ppl luffy cant mess with yet and though he may surpass himself in the fights against them u can see his growth is exponential from fight to fight.

It's sorta like Fairy Tail tbh.
Please never compare FT to OP again. I know everyone should / can have their own opinion but just VERY RUDE
Luffy has lost several times before, had to tell his crew mates to run just to survive. Examples have already been mentioned.
Have you ever seen Natsu or FT. Characters ever lose a battle even against people who aren't in their tier and they always receive random BS powerups at that through BS .nakama plot.
If Luffy fights against those that aren't in his tier even right now 1 v 1, he would lose. As evident against DD who he fought alongside Law

What...

1. Luffy lost a round to Crocodile. He got destroyed and almost died.

2. Luffy got manhandled by Arlong.

3. Enel beat him.

4. Lucci sent him flying.

5. His crew got utterly destroyed by Kuma. It went to the point he didn't even try to look out for them anymore.

6. Admirals trashed him. Both Kizaru and Aokiji. Retreat on both rounds as well as Kuma.

7. Smoker almost bagged him until Ace interfered.

Do I need to list more? Obviously you haven't read the series. Luffy has lost several times in the manga and never managed to beat them again.
