This episode makes me wonder, if Luffy took so long to open Law's handcuffs cuz he can't touch the Seaprism cuffs, how'd he free Ace so easily, especially when they were in the heat of battle with cannonballs flying at them while falling through the air?

This episode makes me wonder, if Luffy took so long to open Law's handcuffs cuz he can't touch the Seaprism cuffs, how'd he free Ace so easily, especially when they were in the heat of battle with cannonballs flying at them while falling through the air?

I guess it was more of a "gag" with Law's situation or at least that's how it seemed from Law's expression.

To be honest, I don't think it's a gag. It was clearly important to the plot since it meant Law was incapacitated for a while. Oda just made it funny, but that doesn't excuse or negate it.

5/5. I like it, entirely, except the pace. The fight scenes were damn good, very enjoyable.

And so....... The blonde guy was Sabo????!

If it wasn't a gag then, i could easily say it was due to the heat of the moment. Luffy seemed more in panic during MF, while for this arc, he might lower his guard down as he saw Doffy wasn't that much of a threat currently, as naive as he could be.

Panic should have caused his actions to be even more shaky than his calm demeanor now. There's also the fact that they were falling, in midair.

best episode for a while the highlight was Sabo stepping in a God's face(UssopXD) 5/5 episode for me.

It's just a gag, he doesn't even have to touch the cuffs. and there is no problem being near sea prism.
