There's still one thing I'm wondering: who opened the gates for Luffy? At that point they said that they lost connection with the control room, so somebody should have taken it over. The thing is I doubt it's someone from Whitebeard because they didn't came from the gate. They said it at the exact same moment that Whitebeard appeared, so they totally forgot about it apparantly.
Maybe someone of the Revolutionary Army?

Could be. No doubt they have a major interest in this battle as the WG would find it easier to impose their ideology if one of the major powers is defeated. You'd think they'd help the WB pirates to ensure that the WG hold is crushed but I guess it's risky to trust pirates no matter their intentions. Perhaps they have inside people working at different sections and once they heard that Ivankov and Inazuma were aboard the escape party, decided to help them.

The guy who drops the information about order of serializations in Jump every week on the "Jump cancelation race" thread dropped off a useful info for us yesterday.
(this may have been posted already, dunno, I haven't checked)
Jump 53 not only has the special episode 0, he also confirmed that it will indeed have the new OP chapter as well.
Oda's been hard at work.
Nurarihyon will have a "big announcement". I wonder if it's gonna get animated....
