aokiji ego won't allow him to join pirates ? yeah maybe but SH crew is exception since there is luffy and nico robin on that crew and we all know aokiji has a debt toward garp and he respect garp the most in the marine, so its possible

and nico robin, as we know the one who let robin escaped from ohara is aokiji and in the end of enies lobby arc(the party) we saw them have a conversation, about robin future and how he wanted nico robin to show him that olivia,saulo and robin was right about the void century.

akoji is like father level to luffy,and besides a crew member can't be stronger than captain,it will affect dignities of both , how can you even imagine this.
On ohara matter,dragon is with robin and he knows a bit of truth,so huge possibility to akoji to join dragon as he supported robin. they are of same level.
